Has anyone exited a game to return to the Wii menu and your Wiimote stopped working? I exited Zelda last night and the four lights on my Wiimote started flashing. I tried to re-sync and it didn't work. I ended up shutting the unit down - twice - and everything was fine after the second restart. Did I do something wrong? I've only had the thing for a week and half!!

What's your 2 cents?

Mine does that every now and then, not very often though. It's nothing to really worry about, my controller works fine.

That's really strange. Even if for some reason your remote gets disconnected, syncing it again should work...

You would think. But the only way to get it to work is to shut down the system again.

Yea the same thing happened to me twice I just turn off the system and then unplug the power cord for about 30 seconds and then it seems to work, but I was worrying about that myself!!!!!

Yeah, it basically seems like the remote goes into "Gamecube mode" occasionally, where it's effectively useless. This never lasts though.

This happens to me all the time. I end up having to unplug the wii, and take the batteries out of the wii remote. then it always works after that.

if it loads a new channel or game while the remote is out of range it will stop working. just unplug the console and start over.

That's due to interference of the sensor, even if a tv remote is pointing between your wii sensor bar and the wiimote. your cursor will start having a seizure. Try point infrared devices away from the play area.
