Wiimote problem - your 2 cents?

Has anyone exited a game to return to the Wii menu and your Wiimote stopped working? I exited Zelda last night and the four lights on my Wiimote started flashing. I tried to re-sync and it didn't work. I ended up shutting the unit down - twice - and everything was fine after the second restart. Did I do something wrong? I've only had the thing for a week and half!!

That's really strange. Even if for some reason your remote gets disconnected, syncing it again should work...rarefactory

You would think. But the only way to get it to work is to shut down the system again.

Yes thats happened to me sometimes, but the wierdest thing that happens is when you aim the remote at the screen but it jerks around like CRAZY!yama-man

That's due to interference of the sensor, even if a tv remote is pointing between your wii sensor bar and the wiimote. your cursor will start having a seizure. Try point infrared devices away from the play area.
