I doubt it will ever happen. Every Wii game is a simplistic and broken set of mini games or a Mario rehash.TheXboxgamer73

SMG deserved a 10. TP, maybe 9.2 (It was a brilliant game). MP 3 + 8.5 = WTF!? When Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon come out, there will definitely be a ten. Although, maybe not giving that the whole Gamespot team are Shooting/360 Fanboys.Dark-Muse
Hear hear!
I for one think Twilight Princess's controls were awesome and not something to be complained about, even if they weren't flawless. They were pretty impressive for a launch title. The music and the fact the world felt a little bigger than it needed to be or else too lifeless sometimes were the only real detracting factors for me.
As for Prime 3... An 8.5 was just wrong. It was about fifty times better using the Wiimote than targeting/ aiming with a control stick and buttons. The turning motion was a little messed up sometimes, but Gamespot had a period there where they were just... Well, having a period. They've lightened up from what I can tell though. But from my perspective, the most important thing is that nobody cares and Galaxy's a 10 in my book.
I really dont care about a score either, but for the sake of the topic:
I doubt it. I think 9.5's are considered the 10's of wii games. The motion controls will never be perfect and neither will the graphics in the eyes of reviewers. So, No, but it doesnt matter anyway :)
Galaxy really wasn't all that. The controls, graphics, music and all were great, but getting the same star multiple times and saying you got a new star was annoying and the whole find luigi in the level was sort of dumb. Beating bowser and getting stars was kind of a cop out of not making more goals because if everyone remembers, bowsers gave you keys in 64. There was a lot of the same goals as previous marios such as race this guy and get coins. I thought the gravity would have played a bigger role than just going upside down. I thought one planetoid would have low gravity which would let you jump higher and then you would jump off of that on to another planetoid which would have high gravity and that would force you down or something.
Wallking around the castle in 64 was pretty cool, the observatory was too the point and not as fun. Worlds only had about 3 main stars instead of 6 or 8.
Overall I would say 8 out of 10.
If they make another warioware game and fix the few problems with the sensing issues with the first one, then yes 10 all the way.

I'll have to agree to disagree there... They let you feel like you beat the game after 60 stars so newer gamers could have a good time, but the hardcore crowd could deal with the more difficult levels (purple coins and such). Don't tell me you found the Luigi planet easy... And the gravity did work the way you explained it. The gravity didn't get stronger on certain planets, but yes you can jump between them. It told you that you got a new star because... Well you did. I personally found the Luigi levels some of the best in the game because they had a different element to them.
Did you honestly play the game?
gamespot has given out 2 10's in like 6 years and that has been GTA4 and MGS 4 which are unbelievably great games
the WII is much newer that consoles like the Xbox 360 and the Xbox has only gotten 1 of the 10's the wii is still defining its motion controls and graphics but i can see a game getting one in the next 2-3 years
I have no clue why GTA IV got a 10.
Even my brother who is a HUGE GTA Fanboy, who bragged about getting it for weeks said, "It's not that great." as soon as he beat it. And he was trying "To make me angry and jealous".
I think a Wii title will get a perfect 10, however not from GS due to their inaccurate ratings.
Boomblox: 7.0 ...Right Der! My proof is Right Der!
[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"][QUOTE="nakasa5"]i don't get games soley based on reviews either, but they are a factor though. its just a travesty that a game like Galaxy or Zelda TP didn't get a 10.hyrueprince11
gta IV didn't deserve a 10 and look what it got, I can't say the same thing about mgs4 because I haven't pl;ayed it but I really doubt it deserves a 10
Grand Theft Auto will always do well because of it's incredibly large fanbase. As for Metal Gear Solid, it's one of the best game series to ever grace a console. And if Metal Gear Solid 4 doesn't deserve a 10, than Twilight Princess sure as hell doesn't.

srry about last post
I'm actually starting to care less about ratings since most of these 10 games are very forgettable and lack replayability. I'd rather be playing Brawl, Mario Kart, or even Wii Fit with family and friends than sitting alone in my room playing MGS4 or GTAIV (which are great games, but lack that fun party atmosphere that videogames really should focus on).
BREAKING NEWS: My
Pokemon Ranch gets a 10!
Hahaha, just kidding... The Wii has already gotten some 10/10 ratings, it just depends where you're looking.
Brawl and SMG both should have scored 10 over gta and mgs. Who care anyways? Gamerankings which is more canon, rates SMG and Brawl higher than mgs4 and gta on ps3 is coming a distant 2nd to OOT, deservedly, but if more sites review it, it should drop off the top 10 list.GS, the same site that gave Zelda TP the infamous 8.8 (if you needed to be reminded), has now given its second 10 in the last month. MGS may deserve a 10, i haven't played that game. GTA4 was good, but it wasn't too original nor did it advance the series very much imo- which is the same thing they knocked Zelda TP for.
my question is this- will the Wii ever get such a favorable rating? If it hasn't gotten it yet, with titles like Zelda and SMG, will it ever? The only chance it has is maybe the new Zelda in development. Other than that they will always knock it for inferior graphics and probably something stupid like "tacked on motion controls."
