will metroid prime 4, and mario galaxy combined be enough reason to by a wii?

In all honesty, I would have already bought a wii right now if zelda hadn't been released on the gamecube. but now that metroid prime 4 (I'm a huge fan of the first one), and mario galaxy (i'm a huge miyamoto fan) are coming soon, do you guys think that will be enough reason for me to buy a wii? also, i think there's a game i'm forgetting, if there is, throw that in too. basically both those games need to be great for it to be reason enough for me to buy a wii imo.

aren't there 3 metroid prime games already out? the original, echos, and hunters.

not sure i'drecommend buying a console for just 3 games (probably not), but there has to be something coming up inthe future that you'd also be interested in...i think mario kart iscoming out next year as well, so there's also that tolook forward to...

Most newcomers buy a console with at least one game in mind, the killer ap if you will. Xbox 360has generic sci fi shooter 3. PS3 has metal gear solid 4 at least the Wii has 4 system sellers in SMG,SSBB,MP:3 AND Battalion wars 2 to play. So just do the mathJustWiicredible

That's why I don't buy a console for only 1 game. Heck, the 360 only has Blue Dragon that interested me. I'm not going to buy a 360 for that game.

Your smart though. Many peoplei spoke to when they were picking up there first console had just onegame in mind that they wanted to play on it. Specifically when Saints row came out on the 360 loads of people were buying there first console just to play it. It was also the time before the Wii and Ps3 and there was alot of hype around this game. It'll be the same this year people will be telling me that the are dying to play Mario Galaxay (or generic sci fi shooter 3 for360 fans)and sales of Wiis will go through the roof

Metroid was one of the reasons I stuck with a Nintendo console this gen. But you seem to be forgetting the numerous other promising titles coming up in the future. Need I mention Disaster: Day of Crisis, 32 player Medal of Honor, Mario Kart Wii, Batallion Wars 2, or Super Smash Bros?

Edit: I almost forgot about Resident Evil: UC!

just after brawl mario kart wii is coming out, and there are games such as Battalion wars 2, tales of symphonia 2and no more heroes

so even if metroid prime 3 and mario galaxies didn't (which they do) warrent buying a wii there are a lot of others that will

Those games and Brawl and Mario Kart and Medal of Honor and Resident Evil 4 and Super Paper Mario and all those VC games youprobably missed out on. So all in all that's at least 20-25 reasons to buy a Wii.
