on joystiq it claimed while playing grand slam tennis on the wii using wii motionplus you would have to hit the ball lke a real tennis racket, thus making he game much harder. But on ign it said that is was a lot more fun and didn't mention anything about missing the ball over half the time?

will motion plus make games much harder?

also, will virtua tennis wii support wii motion plus?

I'm going to go ahead and say no, because the timing to do whatever action will be more precise and accurate.

It will make the games harder is a good way. It will be for the challenge the game gives and not a hard game for the poor motion controls.

No

The only people the games will be harder for are the people with problems with basic motor skills

The lack of response time and lack to the movement performed have helped people who had strokes or brain damage or just were born with a disability

For the majority of people it's just going to make games that much more cake.

Honestly you couldn't be more wrong, the difference between normal and M+ should be very big and should alter the difficulty quite a bit. Just think about it logically, before you just had to time and swing, now you have to time and swing but also swing with the right angle and rotation. Should make the game more difficult to master for sure.

Yes, if your motor skills are shot

The Wii doesn't recognize things well. Look at it this way

Each wave the Wii sees as 2 feet, now the Wii Motion Plus makes it see movement every 6 inches

Can you move your arm 6 inches ok, no trouble with that? Glad to see you're fully functioning that way

Someone with a stroke who lunges out and can't be precise? He was doing terrific in tennis, when he has to start making precise movements?
He's screwed

No I doubt Wii Motion plus will make games any harder at all. Jasonguy summed it up the best lol.

When is Wii motion plus going to come out anyway? Wii Sports resort and motion plus took up a good chunk of Nintendo's E3 last show last year and I haven't heard any more news about it...

It makes it even more intuitive, but that doesn't stop devs from making games requiring utter precision, thus challenging.
