[QUOTE="gamefan67"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="gamefan67"] Well it depends on whose user review I'm reading. There are a couple users here whose opinion I trust. And I'm pretty sure the "pro" reviews for this game will be anything but stellar (judging from the scores Famitsu gave this game).

famitsu reviewed the game already? and what's the score?

7/8/7/8 http://gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=102884 not a bad score, but the negatives never really got explained and I have a strange sense that this is going to get panned by western critics.

1up exaggerated a LOT there. two 8s and two 7s means it's really good. it's a 75% average, which is what muramasa scored in many places (including gamespot). and we don't see much muramasa complaints. 1up picked all the "oh this could be better, but it's not that much of a deal" and turned into "THIS IS FREAKING AWFUL!!!!", while almost ignoring the good things. from what the famitsu quotes say, and from the score they gave, i'm getting it. not that i wasn't before :P

Maybe. It really depends on how Square-Enix pushes the game and if there is enough content to justify the Final Fantasy name. I will be waiting for several reviews that explain the content and length of the game before I buy this. Some of what I've heard has me really worried. That there are no boss encounters, no dungeons, a LOT of mini games (or challenges). It isn't even a true Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles entry but a spin off of a series that is already a spin off. That's what has been annoying the hell out of me for some time now about this game. It seems like another Square-Enix money grab to offset the massive amounts of money they've sunk into Final Fantasy 13. Seriously take a look at all the games they've put out in recent years. Many if not all have been sub par of their usually offerings. Some simply rushed and with some issues. Granted they aren't unplayable but they are below past efforts. They have come off as a way to make as much money as much as possible since so much has gone into the FF13 project.
