roll does look epic what game this year can you team up frank west and roll or zero and its part of the vs games so it will be greatSimple, I'll be getting TvC. TvC = Roll+ Online Play, NMH2 = No Roll + No Online Play. TvC = Higher Priority for me

You knowI find it interesting when I see people say they won't get TvC because they don't know the Tatsunoko characters. I mean did they know Ryu and Ken before Street Fighter? Lui Kang and Scorpion before MK? Knightmare before Soul Calibur? Haichi before Tekken and so on. Who cares who the characters are, a fighting games isn't about names, its about the fighting.
I'm not really worried about either. I'm not into fighting games, and I'm going to be skeptical of NMH2 because the first left a bad taste in my mouth
[QUOTE="Madmangamer364"]Thats it, your fired as my alternate account :P The thing about Suda's games is they are actually games, and the team completely embrace's that fact, not too many developers do that anymore these days. The game industry is alot like the movie industry now, its about getting the mainstream mechanics in first and foremost.See? It's possible for a Wii owner (a Wii-only owner, in fact) to not have an interest in the two games this thread speaks of. :P

Aww... well, let me just get my last paycheck, and I'll be on my way... Hey, where are the rest of my paychecks, now that I think of it? :? :P
Anyways, I was just stating a point. Call me an oddball if you wish, but I won't be adding either game to my collection, unless a mind-blowing impression is made.
In regard to Suda and his work, I respect what he does and all, but I can't say his style is what appeals to me personally. Once again, I actually had Killer 7 at one point, and for all that was made of how that game should have gotten more attention and all (the reason why I bothered to pick it up, in fact), it had no positive effect on me. As for NMH2, the only thing I've found remotely appealing to me so far would be the 8-bit minigames, but the style and theme of the actual game just feels too immature and over-the-top crude for me to actually be able to enjoy it, despite how the game might actually hold up. I've nothing against Suda being an "outside-the-box" developer, but I just can't say I care for the presentation of his games.
i wont buy no more heroes because the fact it features inappropriate content that is against my religion.blacktornThis is the correct answer. Yes, I said "correct" for a reason. If there was a poll asking, "Are you getting No More Heroes 2?" Choice #1 would say "Yes" Choice #2 would say "No because I didn't like the first one. Choice #3 would say, "No because it is against my religion." Choice #3 is the only correct answer. Anyone picked choice #1 or #2 has the wrong answer, the incorrect answer.
I loved the characters and boss battles in NMH, but the sidequest job things and the overworld just made me quit halfway through. i got up to magician man guy.
I also just got a ps3 w/ cheap joystick so i can play capcom vs marvel 2 so i might stick with that because i dont really think i can use the wii controller setup with nunchuck to play a fighting game (the control stick is too rigid for rapid movements for me) and i might prefer mvc2 because it has three characters useable and characters i actually know (yay venom!)
so im unsure for both :P

This is the Freakin' Wii Forums. You think any Wii owner isn't going to miss out on these 2 games?
Madmangamer364
Actually, I probably will be, at least as far as BUYING is concerned. I was actually excited about Tatsunoko vs. Capcom when it was announced that it was coming to the US a few days before E3, but 6-7 months and a really great fighting game later, my interest in the game is pretty much dead now. I still might give TvC a rental if my nearby rental store has it, but I don't see myself buying the game now when I already have two fighters that I could easily put time into at any given time. Quite frankly, I just couldn't see the game getting that much play-time now anyways, since putting in SSBB or Naruto CoNR3 would be a more appealing option for me.
As for NMH2, I've seen a few videos of it, and have come to the conclusion that it's the exact opposite of what I look for in video games. I don't think Suda51's style fits my gaming persona at all, seeing as how I had Killer 7 at one point, which I found to be perhaps my worst gaming investment ever, and this series having no appeal to me whatsoever. So yeah... I'm not expecting to be lining up for this one on launch day, either.

i know you like Shippuden , and its a great great game. But i wholly suggest you try TCV, which is fantastic. Its done by the same company that made Shippuden, it has awesome graphics, the action is terrfyingly fast paced and is just amazing(after trying the japanese build).it will also have wifi. So mmm i think is a good idea to buy it. Unfortunately i know many wii owners wont buy neither. I think the sales of NMH 1 were passable but i wish they were near COD or RE4, and i just feel many wii owners shun from new IPS.And the rest, are just mario first party fans.Im getting both. PREORDERED.[QUOTE="Madmangamer364"]i know you like Shippuden , and its a great great game. But i wholly suggest you try TCV, which is fantastic. Its done by the same company that made Shippuden, it has awesome graphics, the action is terrfyingly fast paced and is just amazing(after trying the japanese build).it will also have wifi. I'm VERY aware that Eighting developed both Naruto Shippuden CoNR3 and TvC, but that's actually one of the reasons my excitement for TvC is dead now. Outside of its flashier visuals, there's really nothing about TvC that appeals to me now, and I just don't see myself getting the most out of a $50 investment when I have two fighting games I've put over 1000 hours into combined and can still pick up and play at any given time. Plus, I've never been a huge fan of the Capcom vs. fighting games to begin with, and I just can't say much about this game appeals to me too much at the moment. Once again, I might give TvC a rent, but that's as far as I'm willing to go.
