Well, I guess his point was that if you say "I want to see how the controls work", then you haven't really given an answer of 'yes' or 'no'. Reason being? Well, if you really just wanted to see "how the controls work" then you could just rent the game, right? That way you'lll get to try the game, and keep Capcom from getting your money at the same time.

Well, considering my blockbuster only has "Carnival Games" and "Mario Party 8" for their Wii games, i doubt it will be there. :P

Like most people, i would wait for the reviews and feedback from users first to hear how the controls work and whether it's a quality game before i'd buy it.

It is annoying how Capcom keeps having these "tests" as they call it. I mean, if all there games have sold better than expected (I believe Z&W sold more than they thought) , why do they still need tests?

But, they give people the chance to try the old games, they are making more people aware of the Resident Evil series. I mean, i bet a lot of people don't even realize Gamecube games work on the Wii. I mean, not only "hardcore" gamers would have bought RE4 or REUC, so it gives "casuals" a chance to play a game by pointing at the screen to shoot, which is fun! Go them!

Well, i guess i didn't really leave my whole opinion, but this has probably been said before on this thread, so then i am just adding nothing for a fair ammount of effort to think, while i could just write 'I'd buy it'. Basically, i am lazy.

Why would you care enough to boycott a friggin' video game? If you don't want the game, JUST DON'T BUY IT! It's a Japanese exclusive (for now) anyway, so why are you continuing to make a big deal out of this? If it ever comes overseas and you don't want it, don't buy it. You don't even know the details of the port...or remake, or whatever. Capcom might have done enough to the Wii version that you might actually want the game when it's released, so why are you just assuming it's going to be worthless or boycott worthy when you have no concrete information other than "it will have Wii controls"?

Seriously...this is one of the stupidest threads I've read in a while. Not only that, but this whole "Resident Evil 0 for the Wii" subject is ridiculous. First, someone reports that a RE0 port is coming to the Wii, and everyone get's upset because you can just buy the Gamecube game, totally ignoring the fact that some might just want to play an updated version. Then, when it's confirmed - less than 24 hours later - that it's a Japan-only release, people are still complaining, and now some overreacter is trying to start a boycott over a game he'll probably never play! I mean, jeez; just let this die and move on with your life!

is not that I would boycott the game... is that:

so far does not have anything extra.. like I have said before on thread about the remake of RE0, if they offer me (starting with it being a NA release) more, e.g. extra missions, more character background, stuff like missionaries or whatever.. then I`ll get it.. If is the same then no... I have the CG version. :P

I will only purchase a NEW Resident Evil Game. NOT a remake or port.

Would No More Heroes be as good as it is without "the waggle"? "the waggle" seems to make games better, like RE4, and TP. I would personally rather pay $18 for a superior version.

No More Heroes isn't a port from a previous Nintendo console, it was made ground up for the Wii. And it's gameplay is focused around the Wii remote. It makes a great blend between using motions and using buttons.

I'm guessing you don't get what I mean by "waggle." I use it as a reference to half-baked controls that don't work well like those is CoD3, Red Steel, et cetra. I don't see the old RE games working on the Wii very well. And the price hasn't been confirmed.

Now that Capcom has reduced itself to milking Wii customers I'm wondering how many are actually going to go along with it?

For the people excited about the game it's already playable on the Wii, it's a last gen game released on the Gamecube. The Gamecube has 100% backwards capability.

If you want the game just go buy it now.

Are you #%$&KING kidding me, I never got the game, can't find it anymore, and it's supposed to be remade with the RE4 style camera and aiming system. Same was supposed to go with RE1-3, which I'm not sure about you but I would love to buy an updated/remade copy of RE2&3 with RE4's camera and aiming system. Unfortunately it's not like what we say matters, it's Japan only.

Oh, when you said waggle, I figured you meant when you waggle the Wiimote to do stuff, like giving deathblows.

Well if you did say that I would think this is a bit inconsistant on your part. This is essentially equivilant to a buying campaign for respectable games

That being said I am not going to buy this game but its proabably not coming to the US anyway.

I've never played it before so if it's good I might buy it. It depends if they add Wii controls or something else that will make it stand out against the old one. If they don't add anything I'd be less likely to pick it up.

At this point it looks like companies like capcom are gonna do it one way NO MATTER what we do. At first they said they were gonna "reward" us if we past their little escapade tests. So we did and they still shaft us.

So they see we are willing to buy good ports so they exploited this. If we did not buy these ports they would have said, "OH its a bunch of casuals on Wii lets do nothing." So basically we cant win. When we buy games we dont get anything when we dont buy games we get even less.

i am not buying this but either way its not going to help.

hell yes, i've always dreamt of all resident evil games being remade one last time with the same gameplay style as resident evil 4, it would be awesome like that, don't you all agree? a lot of remakes yes, annoying, yes, but resident evil 4 was crowned,and so was it's remake on the wii, so if it has RE4 gameplay, I will definately buy it..
