Will you buy any Wii-makes?

Maybe Pikmin 2, but given there's a 3rd one coming, maybe not.

Otherwise, only F-Zero GX, Gotcha Force and Metal Arms would I fork out for a remake. Yet probably none of those will be wiimade...

Maybe Prime 1 if it has motion controls, I already have it.. but if it offers anything new then it's worth getting again. If they remade OoT it'd be awesome, but Wind Waker would be nice.

So many people act like remakes is a new thin, Nintendo has been remaking classic games since the NES to SNES era. Super Mario All Stars leaps to mind, BS Zelda another. Some people stare at remakes like a cat has just done its business in their corn flakes and they walk off holding their nose and trying to find a safe place to vomit.

If Pikmin 2 has added online play and comes out more than 6 months before Pikmin 3 (and is 2-30 dollars) then I will buy that. I would also buy Cubivore, but thats it.

I still have all these games as GC games, so there's not much incentive.

As for me, I think I'll check out DK, Pikmin, and Prime 2.

I heard DK was fun, but I didn't want to buy the bongos as well. I had bought Pikmin 2 because I heard it was the better of the two and I did the same wit Metroid Prime. Now with new motion/IR controls, I'll be more willing to buy the others.

i agree, can you stop posting in the wii forum now that you won't be buying any wii software? you can't complain anymore because you're not playing wii games anymore (ie, you can't react what games the developers put out, because you won't be playing ANY wii games).

There probably won't be any new content. They'll probably be the exact same game, aside from the added motion controls.

I'm a HUGE Metroid fan, so I'll definitely be getting the 2 Prime games. Maybe Pikmin...

I'm gonna be sounding a bit like a hyprocrite here :x I don't like the idea of Wii remakes I'm not gonna go and explain why as I've done that numerous times on these forums.

I will get Pikmin and Pikmin 2, but only if I can't find any used copies.

Nah. Too many other great games coming out in '09 to get a remake.

i wont be... i considered getting metroid prime 1 and 2 and DKJB, but i just finished replaying prime 1 and i think its perfect the way it is.. i wont be spending $30 on a minor improvement to an already perfect game.

as for DKJB, that was an amazing game, but i dont understand how that will work with wii controls... will you waggle the remote or nunchuck instead of hitting the drums? i think the drums are way better, i would get so into it with the beating and clapping that i would start sweating.. im not paying $30 to waggle when its more fun to beat and clap

and for the rumored graphics updates, these 3 games already have better graphics then almost every wii game thats been released.. why pay more?

those are the only 3 games that interested me. never played pikmin, doubt i ever will, dont know what the others are and i dont care. this wiimaking gc games is stupid.. the games arent even 8 years old and theyre being remade

I think Nintendo is doing this for 2 reasons:

1.) Since the GC didn't push as many units as they hoped, many people missed out on some great GC titles such as the first two Primes and the Pikmins. I understand those games were million sellers, but more could've been sold to create awareness about such titles.

2.) Nintendo loves money.

Back to topic. I never played a Pikmin game and really don't know much about it, but I hear good things. So I may pick up the Wii-makes.

From the games lists that have been thrown around I already own every game they are planning on releasing on wii! Jungle beat!!! My god I loved it but I have it and a couple sets of the bongos!! Still if you havent played them they are all worth getting:)
