You only need one zombie to make an zombie game xD (Note: Joke) Anyway, i want it, cause i never played DD, so im getting the Wii verison, and if there isn't enough zombies so what, if the graphics ain't so great, so what! There should be at least 50 to 80 zombies at least! Cause i need some joking around to do!
No. If I want Dead Rising, I can just get it on the 360, along with its recently announced sequel. This just has "lazy port" written all over it. If I want a Wii game, I'll pick one up that the creators actually put effort into.
i might Rent it If it Receives a Fair Score, although i predict a Score not higher than 7.5, but if it can fit 100 zombies in the Screen, it will be TOO much fun XD
And if it does not Sell good i will also be happy because That Way, Capcom will Learn that "no Pain(Money,Time), No gain "
just why the original was alright at best this has had no effort put into it it wasn't a must buy even originally what was the point of downgrading an alrightish game, waste of time especially if they can't even be assed to try

I think it's unfair to call it a lazy port. I don't think the Wii could ever pull off something on the scale of the original Dead Rising. However, i'm still waiting for some reviews to pop up. This game still looks fun to play in its own right. Raiko101
Dead Rising Wii just looks like RE4 with N64 graphics and limitations. Even Capcom admitted its reason for existence is to make a quick buck. Thats capitalism for you.
I don't know why people are so against this game. The original game was mediocore at best. The changes they have made make it sound like they are basically making an RE4 Wii type game with the Dead Rising story line.
For every step forward Chop Till You Drop seems to take, it looks like it takes a couple steps back. It just looks lazy and gimmicky. If Capcom had committed to making it a fully improved port, it'd be worth a look, but I'm thinking the Wii port will just be a rent for me.
Ok, so after looking at some more videos they must've done a lot just to turn Dead Rising into a Wii game since the actual gameplay is completely different. The game may look worse compared to the original but things in Dead Rising look about as good as GTA: Vice City, which wasn't that bad a game. Since I can't rent this game I'll just buy it when it's very inexpensive. The game may not be fantastic, original or built from the ground up but considering the fact that they did have to redesign all the character models and animation from the beginning, minus the cinematics, they did spend a good bit on the game. Based on that, and the fact that it's more like RE4 than the original Dead Rising, then I think people should at least rent the title.
