[QUOTE="forgot_it"]$30 for pinball? I'll pass. If you want to waste your money on it go right ahead.forgot_it

And if you want to miss out on one of the true masterpieces this gen then by all means please do with less this generation :D

What makes the game a masterpiece?

Didn't you grow up with pinball at all? This is the best collection of machines you can find, no other pinball game comes close.

I grew up with pinball, it doesn't even matter if the thing is the best collection out there. It's still $30, it's still just a pinball game.

You think it's not worth $30 (Actually you can even get it for $20)? If you're a fan of pinball machines, and you want to have one in your home but can't afford it, what are you supposed to do? And if you grew up playing pinball, you should know how expensive it can get. I've most definitely spent over $30 playing pinball in the arcades. This is probably the closest one can come to playing his/her favorite pinball machines at home without spending thousands of dollars.

A quick side note for you forget_it: I am sure there are things that you are willing to spend good money on, and things you are willing to pay more for than the usual price if you truly want it.

its no different here. Obv some here value the game for what it brings to the table, like me, and highly reard is as the best game we have played as far as pinball.

Hardly a waste. A good game does not equal shooting something. I cant wait to check it out!

I think we are forgetting what the point of this thread was... it wasnt about whether the game was good or not but about the art of the game.

So playing pinball on a handheld is a good way to spend time but on a console it's not. Well you're starting off well.........

Then you can go into your arcade 24 hours a day and play any of the ten tables in this game for free. Most people don't have 3am access so if you have an all hours arcade you might want to give it a shout out so others have the chance to play these free tables whenever they want.

I don't think you're going to find many, if any, people who follow your "particular" mindset, I can bet you the guy you quoted doesn't share your mindset either lol

specialed

I'm simply stating my opinion on a pinball game, no need to act like I just insulted your mother...

To be quite honest, yeah I think pinball on a handheld is great. I find nothing wrong with whipping out the DS/GBA and playing a few games of pinball, when I'm, say on a road trip to Florida to pick up my sister from college (I live in PA btw), or simply on a trip to a vacation destination.

I'm also sorry that I have higher standards for consoles. If you ask me "With more power comes more responsibility" pretty much fits the consoles. I'd much rather play and epic or a game that I can lose myself to for hours at a time on a console than settle for a game of pinball when my console is screaming for something more worth it's price tag...

......Then again, I don't know why I'm trying to explain my point of view to you in the first place. You now assume that I live in an arcade and spend all my time trying to beat the local nerd in a game of pinball..... Just so you know I never go to arcades. I don't know anyone who in a sane/sober state would go to an arcade, I was simply throwing the idea out there for people who don't want to spend $20-$30 on a game and still want to play pinball. Instead you jumped crazy on the whole arcade thing and took it way too far...

You confuse me. First you say in your first post, "...or I'll go down to the central and hit the arcade...", and you also say, "I'll either...play one of the amazing portable titles (PKMN pinball/Metroid Pinball)...", but then you turn around and say you never go to arcades and you dont know anyone who will in a sober state go to an arcade. Confused by your metod of madness there. And paying for the PKMN Pinball and Metroid pinball for 15-30 bucks is diff than spending 20-30 bucks on this pinball game?

Dude, what really was yor points in this thread? Oh, yeah, to troll.

He's just sharing his opinion...

Also there is a many differences between playing pinball on a console and playing pinball on a handheld

true. A good game does not need to be an FPS but I'd take just about any FPS over pinball.

Dude, what really was yor points in this thread? Oh, yeah, to troll.

I went ahead and did you the favor of highlighting the parts that you could not put together. If you recall in my first post I said if I really wanted to play pinball I'd go to the central, play a portable, or play on the pc. I'll repeat that IF I WANTED TO. I normally don't want to play pinball. It's not like I'm mowing to lawn and I just think "I really want to play some pinball!". Again I was just THROWING THE IDEA OUT THERE, I never said that I do it all the time, or do it at all, I'm simply making suggestions.

Also, I am amazed that you don't see the diff in buying PKMN pinball or metroid pinball and this game. The former are both portable. That's the main draw to it. It's why I found the games appealing in the first place. I can take them anywhere. On a road trip, on and airplane, at work, at school, In a box, with a fox... (Sorry, it had to happen...) You, can't... Wait I'm sorry, maybe you can, I don't know, but I can't drag my Wii and a tv around and play my Wii "on the go", I can only play it at home.
