Worms' lives and dies by its online counterpart, it's the reason why Worms Armageddon is still alive and kicking close to a decade after its inception. Team17 would be fools to release the title without the promised WiFi.
(I was actually looking forward to using it online, more-so with the preset text messages so you could at *least* get some communication across to strangers)
I've never heard of any of the Worms games until I heard this one announced. What are they all about?bowserjr123It's a turn-based 2D (sidescrolling) tactical game. Basically the objective is to use your team of worms to wipe out all other teams, using a variety of weapons (such as my favorite, the Holy Hand Grenade...hehe).
Bananabomb ftw.

Heh... a Super Banana Bomb that's been maxed out in the Weapons settings can literally take out half the map (at least in Worms 2). Still, for me, nothing beats "Hallelujah... BOOM!"
No online means this game has dropped off the top of my most-wanted list. I'd still like to get it, especially since I haven't played much Worms since Armageddon, but I'll wait a while.
I find it really dissapointing they pulled all online features. Especially since the features were probably going to set the standard for Wii online. Online play, downloadable content, text chat, ability to add someone as your friend after a battle -> Nothing. Bah.
All of these ideal multiplayer games that are being developed/released without wifi makes me wonder... Are the developers dumb enough to think that a multiplayer game will sell well without online, or is Nintendo making online applications hard for the developers to include?
