I can't believe you people. No ones mentioned Godzilla Unleashed? I am a HUGE Godzilla fan but I must say this game is the biggest piece of crap to ever ooze from Atari's... area.

[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"][QUOTE="Emmenite7"]Super Mario Galaxy. The space theme was a brilliant idea, but I don't know what Nintendo was thinking when they stripped Mario of the FLUDD - a major innovation that helped to add immeasurable depth to the simplistic Mario 64 formula. Mario Galaxy, unlike its innovative predecessors, was a major step BACK for the series. Emmenite7
As we know, a good sequel builds upon - or at least retains what makes its predecessors great. Sunshine, like any good sequel, moved the series forward by taking the solid though shallow gameplay of Mario 64 and adding the versatile water cannon, creating an abundance of new abilities and gameplay elements, and in effect making the Nintendo 64 ****c primitive in comparison.
Mario Galaxy, however, innovated little and, worse yet, failed to even retain the elements that made it's predecessor, Sunshine, stand out in the first place. Sure, Mario Galaxy had some impressive visuals and catchy beats, but the removal of the water pack that made Sunshine so much deeper and dynamic than its predecessors pulled Mario back into the dark ages.
i agree. That would be like taking the hd out of hdtv's in a year or two. THe FLUDD was great. Without that Mario would never have been able to beat those evil villians![QUOTE="gamer6464"][QUOTE="Wima5ter-134"]ninjabread man or anubis II
and the FLUDD wasn't that immersive and revolutionary, just a new weapon, like the spin or costumes in galaxy.

FLUDD is NOT like the spin or costumes. The spin and costumes played a very small role in the game (punch or kick could have easliy replaced spin, nothing could replace FLUDD)
FLUDD made the whole game feel like a completely new experience, while mario galaxy felt like just another platformer using the mario license. It was fun, but not perfect like everyone says it is.
At least somebody has some sense around here. I also thank you for bringing up a topic that I forgot to mention, the suits, which further demonstrate the massive leap backwards which Galaxy took. Not only did Galaxy fail to retain all of the new abilities introduced by Sunshine, Nintendo decided to instead reintroduce the suits... THE SUITS FROM A 2-D MARIO. Galaxy didn't fall back, kilometers, light-years, or even galaxies. It leaped an entire dimension back in time. i have to agree. Going from SMS to SMG would be like taking the HD out of HDTV in a few years so all the TVS are sd. Also if Mario was in space without a suit on he would die. As you can see someone was not paying attension in science class back in 5th grade. Not with a shroom! :P
[QUOTE="Popadophalis"]This game by far, nothing else even comes close to beating it.

WTF... What is that piece of crap?
That, my friend, is Myth Makers: Orbs of Doom. It's another DDI masterpiece (of ****)
Anyhoo, my pick for worst Wii game has to be M&M's Kart Racing. If you don't believe me, you can actually see a video of it on Amazon.com.

Also we do not know if the fludd is gone from the Mario games yet maybe they are just giving it a break for know.
