your opinion on the worst zelda game, i think its either Zelda II or seasons or ages
This topic is locked from further discussion.
I don't think any of them in particular stink (I haven't played the Oracles).
Zelda II was by far the hardest though. Almost to the point of throwing the controller hard imo. Specially getting to the last dungeon and trying to get through it.
Besides the ones released long ago for a non Nintendo system (I think one was called The Wand of Gamelon), Zelda Wind Waker is the worst.Thiago26792I loved Windwaker. Sure, it is kind of stupid in some ways and wasn't as profitable for Nintendo as a lot of their Zelda games were but still.
...And I hated Zelda II. And was never very fond of the original Zelda. I just didn't get it.
Wow, what is with all of the Wind Waker hate? :|
In order from best to worst,
Links Crossbow Training
A Link ToThe Past
Twilight Princess
Wind Waker
Ocarina Of Time
Majoras Mask
Phantom Hourglass
Links Awakening
The Legend Of Zelda
The Adventure Of Link
I havent played Four Swords / Adventures, The Minish Cap or the Oracle of Seasons / Ages, cos Im not too big on handhelds.
Still, A Link To The Past is quite simply the most complete Zelda ever. It provided the foundations of the other console games. Ocarina of Time was epic, but Twilight Princess refined everything that was good about it. Wind Waker was a huge risk, and took the series in an entirely different story line, which was very refreshing.
I would love for the next Zelda to be as immense as A Link To The Past; two entire worlds to explore that are tied together, as well as the numerous islands of Wind Waker. Mix in the side quests of Ocarina of Time, and the innovative controls of Phantom Hourglass, and you will have the perfect Zelda.
(just kidding about LCT ;) )
The worst game, (going back on topic) has to be The Adventure Of Link. It was just... yucky. Although it still wasnt as bad as other NES games Ive played.
[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]worst one i've played personally.

How could it possibly be? Unless you have only played two or three :| I would like to know why? :)

I guess I can see where you are coming from. I enjoyed its references to OoT, but thought it had a lot more in common with ALttP personally. I felt it refined everything. Besides, I had come into gaming cold since the N64 days, so I guess I just felt reassured by its familiarity.
I get what you are saying about the music, but the waggle didnt bother me at all. I guess its all opinions and preference :)

I've played every Zelda in the order they came out (besides the Oracles, and PH) and I can say TP was a huuuuuuuuuge let down for me as well.
It was a beautfil game, no dout....but it just seemed empty. It pisses me off that Nintend had a bad a** concept, and to me...it just felt unfinished or empty. There was nothing to do in Hyrule town besides the clawshot game.
Hyrule Field was completely empty and boring. As big as it was...there could have been some patches of trees, or a few small stores of something to fill the void.
Ganondorf, my all time favorite villian....just seems thrown in. There was really no point in fighting Zant...and even when you do get to Ganondorf...it's the same old tennis match (with Zelda thrown in) and the final showdown was pathetic.
I didn't like Zelda II. I didn't mind that they changed up the formula, I just wish it was one that worked.
I also don't like this topic. People always say the CD-i games, which forces me to remember that they exist. Thanks a lot. :-P
This is the worst one ever.Arkthemaniac
Haha what the heck are they doing with their hands when they talk?

Clearly they're trying to destroy the Zelda franchise.

I agree. That was the only Zelda I didn't enjoy. This indicates that you haven't played Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link on NES yet (disregarding CD-i as well)

WRONG!!!! I actually got it when I got The Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition. I just didn't like it and I thought the first Zelda was better. :roll:Ocarina of Time was my least favorite of the franchise. It was the only Zelda where I have to force myself to finish it.VGobbsesser
