Would Madworld look as sick if it was in color, or do you think the game would be worse by adding color. In my opinion i think it would be better in black and white, becasue it adds to the darkness.

the black and white removes the depth normally percieved in color, makes it easier to texture everything when you dont have to worry about it looking flat, since its all black and white, its already pretty visually flat, that should let them add as much texture detail as possible, lowering the poly count on the overall enviroment and and using that extra space for more lowpoly yet highly textured objects and characters, it looks great, has a style all its own, and alows for a ton of detail not easy to acheive in normal circumstances

The black-and-white "Sin City" style is a huge appeal to Madworld, so no.

i gonna have to say a no on that one. i've seen a lot of vids on this game and the black and white theme to it is just cool to watch.

When I envision Madworld with more color, I start to think of a look that kinda reminds me of Viewtiful Joe, which pulled its own style very well. Therefore, I don't think Madworld would look terrible if it had gone a similar route. However, I think Madworld's black, white, and red color scheme helps it to pull off the feel Platinum Games is trying to go with here, focusing more of being as ruthless as you can. I think that's the reason why it's probably best it stays with this look.

I think Madworld would not look nearly as good with color. The black and white color scheme makes the game look more intense and dark than other games.

I just think of Nintendo's transformation. From disallowing blood in their port of Mortal Kombat, to having a game in black and white that makes the blood REALLY stand out. This game wouldn't look good in color and it would loose it's edge. If they colorized it, it would look too cartoony and not like an adult graphic novel. If they made it with realistic graphics and gave it colors, this would be the most censored game ever. They took the right angle with this one.

I don't think it would. It gives it that "Frank Miller" / "comic book" style. I love black n white anything, so I'd say stick with it.

Honestly, probably not. The B&W&R are what make it unique and different from other games in it's class.

It would be cool if you beat the game, you could ave an option where there is a color filler. You could play the game over,but with color. However, that would require re-done textures right?DaLegendKilla92
