Unlike previous games that are online you won't even see the players name. They are also making it so that if a player drops out they replace it with a cpu without telling you... If that's not a barebone online experience I don't know what is. My anticipation for this game went way down I'll stick with heroes 2 nintendo. How is online possible going to be fun with all these limitations and makes ranks and leaderboards impossible. Why are they dumbing down what could be one of the best online experieces ever? Just to make sure a few kids don't here a swear word or get stalked...damn this really pisses me off Brawl online is just a bunch of missed opportunities.

No chat

+ No screen names

+ No leader boards

+No rank

+Replacing real players with CPUs

=No fun for safety.

Brawl's online looks like one of the worst congfigurations I've ever seen.

I really dont see the need for voice chat in a fighting game. Leaderboards would be a nice addition, but i dont think sakurai ever said there werent any leaderboards. Also, if you set up a friend match, there are usernames.

for leaderboards you would have to show your screen name to people. which sakurai said he doesn't want.

I'll probably only use the With Everybody option when none of my friends are online and I'll use it to refine my skills, since real people are better than computers. As for voice chat.. it's a fighting game! All we really need is the little messages to rub it in their faces.

Fine then. But Haziqonfire is right, sooner or later a mod will come by and lock this thread because all SSBB-related stuff should go in the SSBB sticky.

it could be used to refine your skills but it also could have been so much more. A whole worthwhile online experience

I know I must sound like a broken record by now but this is just another reason why new people should be able to make their own threads... All we get are these threads that break the rules or are pointless (in this case breaking the rules) by either someone who is new and doesnt know how things work, or someone who already has an account but they dont want to get their account in troble so they make another one and use that one when they break the rules.
