I love Advance Wars and I'm apparently one of the few that really likes the new direction. To me what has made me really love the game is the gameplay,graphics were always just there for me and I didn't have anopinion either way. Now that it appears to be more grown up it's more appealing to look at for me at least.

As far as the online, I have a badfeeling about it. Advance wars is to me one of those games where taking as much time per turn as you want is the way it's meant to be played. I don't see a problem with checking each of your units each turn, deciding on a strategy and if need be rechecking your units before moving. That all takes time of course, sometimes quite a bit of time per turn.That said, I can alreadyhear the peeing and moaning that's going to go on while one person is waiting for theother to complete his turn.

So one person gets tired of waiting and DC's or the other gets tired of hearing the complaining and DC's or worse just startsplaying carelessly to make the complainer happy.I'm not convinced Advance Wars will make a good online game at all. We shall see.

Edit - Don't forget fire emblem ds is comeing as well.

But seriously, I agree that the new style looks alot better. Im all for quirky animation, but I want something more serious.
