Spider Man 3 got some really bad reviews and most of them were worthy but I still enjoyed the game. Its graphics sucked and it had to much wagleing but swinging around the city and having the ability to go between Black suit and red was really nice. What we need is a new Spider Man with M+ and some effort put into it.
Tales Of Symphonia Dawn Of The New World was pretty good for a 6.5 on GS.
It was really good for 6.5. I wish more JRPG would come out for the Wii. I'm waiting on Tales of Graces and (supposedly) Tales of Vesperia to be announced for the US.

How is that game? I was thinking about picking it up but the reviews scared me off.
Ill be straight, its pretty bad. The controls are a mess, the enviorments are very bland, the graphics are abysmal and the the missions are beyond repetitive (for the first few hours).
But then there's the good like great character customization from powers, appearence to equipment. While frustrating it has an awesome battle system, and once your done with the small fetch and hunt missions you get the huge hunt quests with bosses and, well, generally harder enemies.

Perhaps an 82 is, but an 83 is just fine :lol:. But seriously it's a great game, but it is niche and controversial, you have to expect some people to hate it. The fact that a game of such niche appeal cracked an 80/100 average is very good.
Its worst score was a lone 60. Many AAA games get a 50 or two.
I can't remember if I have purchased a game that has earned too low of score, but I think I'll choose Klonoa. It has pretty good scores, averaging like a high 70, and GS gave it a 7. But I found it to be one of the best games on the Wii. Easily one of my personal favorites both released this year and on the platform itself.

NMH getting an 83 average sounds fair. Personally it is my favorite Wii game, but what some folks view as artistic choices (the monotony of Travis's life for instance outside of the fights) may be viewed as faults by others. I say No More Heroes deserves a 9.5 (that's what I gave it), but an 83 does sound fair for such a controversial, gory and blatantly sexual game aimed at a very niche group of people.

Ya all in all I'd give it a 9.0 or 9.5. Hugely fun and creative. What a lot of people failed to realize was that the crappy "sandbox" overworld wasn't intended to be a good open sandbox, it was just a joke, a sort of parody of crappy open world games. Obviously sacrificing something good to make a statement is a bit pretentious and some people won't like it, but I thought it was fitting of the game's style and all in all, and it wasn't sacrificing much. They could've made a linear beat 'em up but instead they made it one of the most hilarious and enjoyable games I've seen.
Sonic and the Secret Rings. 7.6 It has a crappy soundtrack, annoying characters, and useless minigames, but the gameplay is pretty good if you take some time to up Sonic's skills.
