You dont need a myspace account either. But they took the link off, it was at undergroundhiphop.com but they're also sold out. Itunes is the only option now.
Thats why I bought mine as soon as i heard about it.
Damn, it's too bad I didn't know this garbage was gonna be worth some money ... I sold mine about a month or two after buying it ... if I still had my copy I'd be happy to give it away ...IsThisIt_basicother than being the best album of 07, how do you see it as garbage?

It's just more boring backpacker ****. I was really let-down, too, because I do love this kind of music when it's done right (ie, interesting), and all the internet hype had me interested, but it just ended up being the same old ****. I don't know why it's so hard to find good backpack rap these days ...

Not to me at all, and I hate a lot of backpack rap. :?
B & E is not backpack rap...gamr92How is it not backpack rap? It is so underground and is real. Backpack is not a negative term.
[QUOTE="gamr92"]B & E is not backpack rap...WizengamotXHow is it not backpack rap? It is so underground and is real. Backpack is not a negative term. The term 'backpacker' is subject to various meanings. IMO there is not a "set" definition of what a 'backpacker' is.

7L & Esoteric hahahahahahaWorstGameEver
There's not an artist in rap that I can't stand more than them. Fitting that they would be from the Boston area. I think it's about time Obama authorizes the military to nuke that area.
Is it a good thing that I don't know who they are?TheHimura
That picture alone should show you that you shouldn't listen to their music.

Civilians cannot authorize the military to do things when they are not themselves commanding the military... uhh so when is the January inauguration?

I can stand people listing Blu & Exile as backpack rap...but boring?? haha, the album is nowhere near boring. Id rather listen to Below The Heavens than any D'angelo track.

Wait, uh man do you know what backpack means? How is Blu & Exile not backpack rap? If you don't call it backpack rap, then what is it? Commercial? It isn't on BET and it isn't in any magazine. It's fame is sold on the street by the tounge. Word of mouf it is bro. You can not deny it. We here are spreading it as we type.
wat is backpack rap?NoNam3rUnderground, non-commercial, independent non-publicized, out of the backpack, roots spoken word hip hop. Backpackers are hip hop kids, those on the streets, originating by the b-boy or pusher-promoter, whose backpack held everything he needed; his paint, his box, his tapes, his flyers, his mentality, his day.
I don't think just because something is underground that it's backpack rap. I don't consider Blu & Exile or Jay Electronica back pack rap, but I do think something like Atmosphere, 7L & esoteric, is defined as backpack.-Halftime-Like Slum Village, MF Doom, Madvillain, Souls of Mischief, and Dilated Peoples then? Or are they all too commercial? Isn't the opposite of commercial underground? The opposite of mainstream is alternative, not underground, right? Or do they mean the same thing. It is all symantics, and IMO underground is backpack is whatever other label you want to put on the sub-genre, worldwide.

Black Moon biography focusing on Enta Da Stage era (watch from 7:40-8:00)
"On top of all that, because of the video for their first single Who Got Da Props, Black Moon unknowingly became the poster boys for the backpack era. The backpack was part of the unofficial uniform for hip-hop purists."
