Other than Bun B and Z-RoI can't really think of any other Southern rapper is better than Cham really. Ludacris ranks up there with him too IMO.Black-Demon3000

Ghostface flops dawg. Dude isn't diverse, he's just a watered version of what he used to be during his prime. Dumbed down lyrics + flow FTL.

Only cat better than Cham in the last 3 years is Saigon.

Cham's top 2 in the last few years though. Most def.

Seriously what the hell do people see in Saigon? Dude sounds like a generic 50.
I have no clue why people call him one of the best out. He sounds just like any other mainstream garbage that you would hear on mtv, bet.
I know he isn't necessarily "mainstream" but he has that sound to him.
I think I'd rather listen to a Yayo mixtape.

(that wasn't completely directed towards you colt)

Haven't gotten into a Luda album since Word of Mouf[QUOTE="Aljosa23"]Purely as a battle rapper, probably. Youou still don't seem to get the point of my argument, idiota.Royce or Chamillionare? Dude, that shouldn't even be debatable.
Royce rapes him on so many levels that it's not even funny

i just owned your face hash :)mems_1224how come?
[QUOTE="strtballer516"][QUOTE="HaSheeSh_basic"][QUOTE="strtballer516"]sorry hombre, but no:No hate on Cham, I have Sound of Revenge, Ultimate Victory, and Mixtape Messiah 2-3, but best rapper in the past 3 years? No sir.
Even though they haven't put out as much material as him, Buddens, Royce, and maybe even Joell Ortiz, Sean P and Saigon > Chamillionaire.
gamr92
budden: like i said before...no
royce: lotsa ill joints from guest appreances, album+mixtapes on the other had are weak except for that M.I.C ish
Ortiz: 1 album, not even better than Cham's worst mixtape
Sean P: Best amongst ur list, comes close. But lacks the (can't believe i'm saying this, *ahem*ja-z) versatily that cham has got.
Saigon: no
Budden: Mood Muzik Series > Mixtape Messiah Series
Royce: Some of his albums aren't too great (Rock City and Independents Day come to mind) but dude absolutely destroyed the Bar Exam mixtape.
Ortiz: understandable, he's had some ill guest appearences though.
Sean P: True....Sean P can't sing like Cham.
Saigon: Moral of the Story, Yardfather are piff. I have a mashed up mixtape from Certified Hip Hop called The Best of Saigon that is ridiculous too.
This is more like it.
By the time you make posts that exceed 5 word 1 liners...I might begin to take you seriously. Otherwise, stfuI ain't even gonna waste my time with it, cuz it ain't like you gonna accept the truth that Cham isn't the best rapper in three years kid.
[QUOTE="HaSheeSh_basic"][QUOTE="Black-Demon"]homie you kiddin me? Z-Ro OWNS. I heard him on various guest features from the other sourthern ish i've been bumpin lately. Whats his best record? As much love I got for Cham,I have to put Z-Ro above him.
You should give him a listen Hash,he is another Houston rapper that owns hard:)
Black-Demon
MY BOY! *high five*
I would say Let The Truth Be Told is his best record. Have you ever listened to Trae? He's pretty good too,you should check him out if you haven't.
i hate you *****... love that z-ro track"Ultimate Victory" was hands down the worst album I bought last year ... I have no idea how people could listen to that record, let alone put it on year-end best-of lists ... the only good song on there was "Won't Let You Down", and the remix (not on the album) murders it - and every rapper on that song kills Cham's verse (though it's more inspired than any of his verses on "Ultimate Victory"). Too much bubblebath pop ****, and on the other side, you've got Cham talking about the state of rap? WTF? Since when is Cham an authority on rap? Dude should just stick to town business ... that's when he was at his best, when he was making records with Paul Wall (and I liked Paul's verses better than Cham's). But the worst thing of all is his singing ... he's singing all the ******* time now. Dude, you ain't Nate Dogg. ****, you're not even 50 Cent. Stop trying to sing. Man, that record had absolutely no balls ... all I wanted to do after listening to it is listen to a record with a bunch of cussing and real beats ...
Cham's singing owns. Dudes catchiness is comparable to that of 50, or T-Pain."Ultimate Victory" was hands down the worst album I bought last year ... LMAO at all yall. i figured yall would of gave it to him worser then this. as soon as I saw this is was laughin. if this was another site, he would of been flamed to hell.ocdog45
Thats because most other places where rap/hip hop is discussed on the web, are made up of people who are all about whats in and ish (new club bangers, hot singles, or popular ass mcs who rap about the same ish over and over again - played out artists). Any real rap listener would be able to recognize Cham's skill, talent, and ability to be a versatile artist.
My bad for bringing old threads back, but i got ultimate victory a couple days a go and im going to have to agree with Hash, a bit. I say he is in the top 3 best of the last 3 years, not the best though. Ultimate Victory is on some ILL ish. Just plain sick.elpooz

*****, especially coming from you ;)Weezy > Chamillionaremurdamuzikstfu and go back to listening to Blood Money and that weak Juelz album.
I don't listen to "crap rap" anymore (notice the reference to Cham). I still like weezy more than cham though, only because of his flow. Cham is nicer in pretty much...every other aspect. Those 2 are the nicest mcs out right now, besides the legends/greats (Nas, 3 stacks, Jigga, and so on).
