http://www.theboombox.com/2010/02/15/mf-doom-disappoints-chicago-crowd-with-another-imposter/ so yeah...a bunch of people seem to be very very pissed off because DOOM sent in another imposter to lip synch his songs at the Mos Def/DOOM show in Chicago the other night. I've been reading a bunch of comments from people who were at the show saying that is was definitely not DOOM, no question. Apparently there were chants of "**** DOOM" throughout the crowd and people were throwing bottles at the stage. After the first incident, I can't believe he'd do this again. He has to know this is gonna piss people off, so I want to believe that theres some genius master plan behind this....but i dunno :? Yeah, I know my Doom, I do not think that's Doom. The skin on his neck is too round it seems and the beard is a bit too clean for what Doom rocks. Dooms skin is darker too and a bit more leathery.

Dude also tricked people into thinking he voted for John McCain just to keep up his Supervillain image but I think it's pretty low to not show up for your shows...

His last performance in the summer (can't remember what the gig/festival was called?) was him for sure, so why send an imposter on WITH Mos Def there too? Too many questions to ask and I'd rather just lay in hope he actually turns up in London early March LOL.

He's also lighter then Doom...I thought Doom was quite dark.Â
