Earl or Illmatic

I've been bumping both a lot lately and no question Earl is the better album imo. Earl DESTROYS every song. Possibly the best flow of all time. mixed with DOPE wordplay and some suprisingly great production. Plus he's 16. Amazing. Outstanding. Illmatic is still a great album but Earl takes over the number one spot in the best album of all time category imo. The song Earl is ridiculous, Pigeons is equally dope, Luper is AMAZING, epaR is a banger, Kill is pretty dope, Couch with Tyler creator is too dope

"Earl" + Molliwopped + Deerskin + Blade + CopKiller + plus the rest of his track = Potentially the 3rd greatest rapper to ever touch the mic?

The beats on Earl are not that great. Illmatic has a Dream Team of producers with Premo, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Q-Tip.

But it is amazing how young Earl is. Nas was young when Illmatic was released too, 20 I believe, so he had a few years on Earl still.

The production on it isn't bad. It's no Madlib or DJ Premier, but I liked it enough. It's miles ahead of the stuff on EARL though.

Wow the ignorance in this thread has just crossed the line and needs to be stopped. You must not have a very good ear for hip hop because OF production is phenomenal. Some of the best right now actually. Left Brain might literally be a beast and Tyler and Syd have made their fair share of dope beats also.

Even using fruit loops or garage band or w/e they've managed to produce some dope mixtapes/albums. Music way better than almost anything out right now. Might even go as far as using the word genius in some instances (Earlmatic, Yonkers video, the beat on Cashmere, etc.)  

Other than J.Cole and Kanye West who actually has talent and is worth listening to in the rap game? Nobody. Would you rather listen to Lupe Fiasco rap the bottom line of CNN? Kid Cudi cry more?
