Yeah, that song was way better than this ****.
Right now, this is shaping up to be the worst record Jay has ever made. I mean, really, a song about autotune? For your street single?! Who the **** in the streets gives a crap about the death of autotune? Much less, look back at how well the content of "Reasonable Doubt" has aged; this song isn't even interesting today, much less in ten years. Apparently next we get a single with Drake - whoop-dee-****ing-doo. And it'd be a bit much to put faith in Kanye to deliver another cIassic from the production side of things - possible, but highly unlikely. Unfortunately, I think it's safe to say Jay's best days are officially behind him.

I'll save my opinions on Drake for another time; what I'm saying here is that Drake isn't exactly someone I'm dying to hear on a Jay-Z track. When it comes to potential collaborators - whether it be feasible (Bun B, Scarface, Too $hort, Trick Daddy, etc) or unlikely/when hell freezes over (E-40, J Stalin, J Dawg) - Drake isn't even a name I'd even consider.

pshh...i'd rather hear drake on a jay-z track than e-40's goofy sounding assDope song.
"Might send it to the mixtape Weezy" That's my dude 8) ... spit it jay :)
I really don't get all the hate Jay has been getting in the last 5 years or so. Black Album was arguably classic, KC was different... But still a good album imo... I liked quite a few tracks off it... AG was very good imo.. and this is shaping up well.
AG & KC both pretty much sucked.. there's about 6 good songs on both albums combined..
And Jay-Z is one of my favorite rappers

Lost Ones, Kingdom Come, Do U Wanna Ride, The Prelude, Trouble, I Made It, Hollywood, Beach Chair, American Dreamin', No Hook, Roc Boys, Party Life, Ignorant ****, Say Hello, Success, Fallin', Blue Magic, and American Gangster all own. (basically about half of KC and a lot of AG). And the rest of the songs are either suuuck or ok.
Go relisten man... I used to hate both albums, but now I really like them. AG took a looooong time to get in to.
who other than someone no one has ever heard ofGuess who's catching feelings from Jigga's DOA track? DJ Webstar responds on his Twitter. Check it out:

I'm tired of people throwing out these "he's old, he is no longer relevant" comments. That's such BS. AG was dope, he does dope guest drops and he has only had one minor slip-up (KC) in his career, and I wouldn't even call that a slip up, it was a solid, more mature album that reflected on his age. The dude has put out amazing content over and over again for over a decade and is idolized by toooons of people, especially the youth. So how would he not be relevant? If the teens and young college students out there are looking up to this dude and buying tons of his albums (dude has sold like over 50 million), he is still relevant. Jigga relates to everyone... He has the maturity and properness of an adult, but the swag and drugdealer bop of the teens and youth in the inner city. It's just stupid to me when people talk about him needing to retire. Did you not hear him on his latest guest spots? Did you not hear AG? Do you not see his name everywhere in the rap world? Did you not actually listen to this track or Jockin' Jay-Z? The dude has a big place in Hip-Hop and does a lot of good for the genre, not just by putting out good music. People need to get over it and let dude be.
/rant
These shots at Jigga just get old. Honestly, I think people are mad because he is old as hell for a rapper and can still drop better ish than their favorite dude. And I think the rappers and producers out there are even madder because their ish gets less play because of the dude's mass following and fame :?.

Is there anybody out that you're not feelin', besides the obvious [soulja flop, etc. etc.]I have a really open ear for music. I usually find something good in everything I hear. But...
I don't like metal, Jim Jones, E-40, El-p sometimes (when he starts doing too much of that spacey-mystic crap with his production), some of those new Young Money dudes, cheesy rock groups/performers (Nickelback, Daughtry, etc...), Bizzare sometimes, Bubba Sparxxx, any gimmick rappers (Soulja Boy, and all those dudes who make random new dances... some of their songs are catchy but it just isn't good), and some others. That's all I can really think of right now... Boybands really suck too, and those actor -> singer artists as well (Lohan...).
otb is becoming a fail. you know a union is flopping when dudes comment on the number of times you used a word instead of the music you talked about, when you're on a music-related board

I bet if you get Backstreet Boys "Unbreakable" album (quite possibly a top 10 pop record of this decade) you'll change your mind on boy bands :P BSB ownsPlease Log In to post.
