He's def very good and something very different. Don't understand the hate on this guy. I mean he may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he's not some talentless, trend following rapper.

Everyone around here loves him to death, and my friend says he's the "realest rapper ever".

I think he's nice. Definitely don't mess with him the way these people do, but I also don't dislike him the way OTB seems to.

SmittyPeppers

im guessing u live in Cleveland or nearby

and i dont want to say he is the realest....but his lyrics are real, honestly i would rather hop on his bandwagon rather than young money(what the whole world is on) that raps litterly about nothing

and lol, i didnt know OTB hates Kid Cudi

If Kid Cudi is inspiration than Andrew WK must be the second coming

Music that makes you feel good =/= Inspiration

Could never really get into him. He always seemed like a watered-down mixture of K-OS and B.O.B (when he tries to sing) to me.

He's hit or miss for me. His debut was way too whiny and had way too much singing. Someone needs to tell him he's better at rapping.

Meh,I think's he alright, never understood the hype about him in the beginning though. Those two,Asher, and Charles Hamilton are pretty much the only rookies that I don't like or don't like much out of everyone I took time to listen to.

are you basing this off his hit songs you've heard on the radio or his songs from his mixtapes? because his stuff from his mixtapes are a lot better then his pop songs from his latest album. He's not the best lyrically but he does make a lot of good music and can also produce which he displayed on his last mixtape

As far as Kid Cudi goes, I used to be a hater but not so much now. It wasn't until I heard Pursuit of Happiness and then I started listening to more of his stuff. As long as his production continues to stay top notch, i'll listen to his music

I am a moderate fan, but not crazy for Cudi though. I played Cudi Zone, Soundtrack 2 My Life, Sky Might Fall, and Hyyerr a lot when his album first came out. And I like Embrace the Martian, Heaven At Night, Man on the Moon and a few others off A Kid Named Cudi. I got to see him live for free at my school last year.

I bumped A Kid Named Cudi for a while back when it came out. Man On the Moon is his best song from what I've heard.

Besides his tracks being real chill,I never saw what was so special about Wiz either. Dude talks about smoking WAY too much, homie should be on Dr. Drew's show next season.

 preach brother man

and so many kids buy into it, like he's the best thing since sliced bread.  The beats are what made Kush & OJ what it is. Wiz bored the hell out of me on that mixtape.  I still bump Glass House though but mainly just to hear Big K.R.I.T's verse

lol @ loving Cudi and hating B.O.B

and inspirational my ass . . . only thing Cudi inspires me to do is turn his music off. If I want to be inspired, last place I'll look is rap. **** is preachy and cliche 99% of the time. Best inspirational raps are the depressing songs by artists like Pac. Uplifting songs always sound stupid (yes, even Keep Ya Head Up)

I hate BoB....dude is BORING as hell. Cudi sucks too....in fact, most rappers mentioned in this thread suck [save for wiz, and charles hammy...wiz because ive yet to listen to him].

Cudi's songs are so cliche and boring...the subject matter is boring, and he doesn't say his clice meanings in any way type of metaphorical way. his lyrics really just flat out suck...which is a shame because his production on man on the moon was great.

i dont get why all of you call wiz boring....sure he talks a lot about smoking but his music is entertaining as hell....like IDK how to explain it but his style is unique and diffrent in almost every song..for example heres a few of my favorites

Ink my Whole Body
This Plane
Sky High
In the Cut
Never Been
The Thrill
Buss Down

i can keep going and going but none of those songs sound the same....and their all unique. and i dont get why talking about smoking a lot pisses you guys off, Cypress Hill did that for over a decade...

I don't know if I would go as far to call them unique besides "The Thrill",he doesn't really say anything that a lot of other rappers don't. Hell,he doesn't prove me wrong with that statement on ANY song you posted lol.

Oh,and I don't listen to Cypress Hill. B-Real has one of the most annoying voices in the history of rap.

kid cudi=somple

i dont get why OTB hates WIz so much, they say he is repetative but what rapper isnt? And wiz isnt repatitive, he talks about normal stuff and smoking is just something he will always mention in his songs. Its like listening to a Big L song, where he constantly makes death threats or like listening to a Gucci Mane song where  he talks about is his ice in every other line....

and at least Wiz is a RAPPER.............WTF is a BoB(lol)

Who here hates Wiz?

I don't hate him,he's just nothing special and don't understand the hype about him. J. Cole and Fashawn own him in every way (I would like to see how they are repetitive btw, since you stated every rapper is). And there's no such thing as talking about "normal stuff",that can be looked at differently by any person.

lol those songs aren't even close to BoB's best....they might as well be other radio singles from the album true B.o.B.: "Room 34""They Keep Crying" (i love this beat) "Change Gonna Come" ft. Asher Roth & Charles Hamilton"Gladiators" ft. J.Cole"Black & Mild""No Man's Land" if you don't like BoB (which i know a lot of you don't, because of Nothin on You and Airplanes), give all of these songs a chance. it'll help you to appreciate bobby and show you the power that record labels have over their artists :?
