The Ecstatic would probably be in my top 5 of the most boring albums I've ever heard.

REARRY??? I liked it (though I think this board slightly overrates it). The new Roots album would be in my top 5. I seriously could never listen to it again and my life would be extra complete.
this is awesome, but you didn't mention the biggest news in this article kanye and jay-z over a madlib beat!?! :ODaDukiesThat's dope by itself but I'm just excited about all the people Kanye is working with. Premo, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, RZA AND Madlib. It's like he's trying to do a complete 180 and keep it as hip-hop as possible (bringing out an MPC at the MTV Awards?) after going autotune on 808's and Heartbreak

I was surprised that he's working with pete, premo, and rza, but madlib!? i didn't even think kanye knew who madlib was...[QUOTE="DaDukies"]this is awesome, but you didn't mention the biggest news in this article kanye and jay-z over a madlib beat!?! :OOrlando_Magic

Almost brings a tear to my eye.
Then Madlib - scratch that almost.Â
Hm...last 3 Mos Def albums were boring? I can level with that. Don't agree, but can level.
All they need is Talib to get on board and make a new Black Star already. Ain't no way the guy who said that can say the "History" was boring.

"History" was nothing special to me. Sounded like a song that would've been Revolutions Per Minute, which was pretty much another flavor of Theraflu for me. Nowadays when I hear Talib and Mos rap it's the same rehashed material if you ask me.
