MTV Jams Bay Day

MTV Jams is playing nothing but Bay Area music today. Tune in and check it out. They just played "Light Sleeper" by Saafir and Rappin' 4-Tay's "I'll Be Around."

They're playing Souls of Mischief's 93 Til Infinity now!Orlando_Magic

Too bad I didn't know about this in advance ... I literally would've paid good money for someone to tape this and send it to me.

It's channel 142 for me right next to MTV Hits, VH1 CIassic and VH1 Soul. I have Comcast digital cable, its not on basic cable as far as I know.

They played a bunch of Tony Toni Tone videos and then I left to eat. Came back and they played a bunch of Too Short vids, and now they're playing a lot of Pac vids. "Do For Love" is on now.

J Stalin, Beeda Weeda, San Quinn, Mac Mall, the Pack, Traxxamillion, Spice 1, JT the Bigga Figga were a few of the people they had talking in between vids.

I've been watching for awhile now and a lot of the time they show good underground videos you don't normally see.

Such as Brother Ali, Atmosphere, Cunninlynguists actually, which surprised me and etc. So I always check it out when i get the time.

Its not always that good though.

They only support the white underground artists. Excluding POS.

I used to have mtv jams, I basically grew up on it since I was 8 years old. If it wasn't for jams I wouldn't know ish about underground and old school hip hop. Too bad I had to switch to dish a couple years ago.
