My opinion on Hip Hop discussion on the internet

Mrs. Officer isn't too bad, but it isn't better than the hit singles (which I don't like the best but still like), being A Milli, Got Money, and Lollipop.

If he isn't bankrupt, then someone is making him bankrupt and he is going to take out revenge upon them with violence? Some "coward" is sweating him (taking his money), but who? It can't be the listener because we are his source of income.

That whole verse is about Block is hot/Carter 1 Wayne.
If you let him into the rap game you won't regret him, better yet you won't forget him. Remember? If you don't then ponder..hold up.."BAH BAH" (straight out the BAH BAH!(block but he annunciates it different) - block is hot. He's not hot, he's sauna....etc. You get that part and its not a bad metaphore at all you actually over analyized and gave no real case against it except your ( "so what?" arguement against it ).
Second part of that verse (about flowers/ours):
"and I would die for ours, ride for hours, supply the flowers.." - Ride or die for CMR and Wayne got married during this period of time to Antonia Carter which would explain the flowers.
If you knew more about wayne sometimes it will help you understand his lyrics.

What I did mention was how lame it was when he dropped some lines about showers and towels. Maybe I didn't hear the blahk blahk (which makes sense), and while the transition from retrospect to present day is more smooth with that reference, the showers and towels is random, as is the flowers. It doesn't matter what the flowers mean. The fact it has nothing to do with the rest of the lines is what makes Lil' Wayne random.

Sums it up nicely. Same can be said for Soulja boy and all that jazz. These rappers are successful at what they do and I don't think anybody should take that away from them. Are they good rappers though, haha no. I personally like all types of hip hop music. (And this next note is for you Kobe) I'll bump a couple 50 cent songs at parties only because lets face it, their catchy and people have a good time listening to it during parties. What i've come to understand is that usually when people are discussing about an artist or his songs in a thread discussion we as posters usually critique the song as an art piece. Thus we have an immediate bias towards those rappers that take the game very seriously and produce high quality tracks. (I personally love this aspect of the internet forums we have) In the end it's just our opinion. And the general opinion on this board is that Snap music sucks. LOL and I have to agree I personally don't like it. When its on its fun to make fun of and sing to cause its silly, but thats as far as it goes. I feel what your trying to say Goon, but I like people's opinions and their objections to certain music.(As long as it isn't fan boy sh*t):lol: You guys are taking this TOO seriously :lol::lol:

look ive listened to a lot of hip hop so when i say i dont like an artist, it means that (and please remember this part) i really just do not like their music, now you can feel free to go ahead and spin this into being my fault for being close minded and all that nonsense, but deep down you know that your so called "knowledge" on hip hop is very poor at best. and the problem with getting into a rap and acting like you know the genre based on one rapper that you dickride, is that you end up just constantly yammering about one guy and then everyone calls you out on it. so please sally tone it down and go research some other much better hip hop artists cause you know that there is hundreds of them

take off ur lil wayne goggles and realize that (stay with me here) with the amount u dickride this one guy(i honestly dont care who it is) you could be out there finding more artists who you like just as much. i kno because ive been that kind of fanboy before and it gets you no where, a few years down the road you are going to get sick of his music and will realize all of the time you could have spent looking for other artists while u were jocking that 1 guy you thought just the bestest
