Off the Books Best of 2008 Music Awards

It's that time of year again to see where Off the Books stands in terms of our favorite music released in 2008. nutDAVE3 has been making these Award threads for the past couple of years, but he hasn't been seen for awhile so I will be making the thread this year instead.

Please fill out the entire ballot, it will make tallying up votes much easier if you completely fill out each category. Black-Demon:

Why do u have Spell My Name Right in your top albums when it dropped in 2007??
Why do you have Stick 2 The Script in your top mixtapes when it was actually an album??

I also noticed a lot of you guys have Elzhi's Europass as either an album or a mixtape. Seriously make up your minds and lets have it enlisted in one category, I honestly believe it should be in the mixtape category since it's a live album iirc.

And finally, I also believe that many of you should refrain from placing songs which haven't been rapped over an original beat (or cleared in retail albums) that are found in mixtape. An example is one of you has placed Clipse's "S.L.U." (swagger like us) found in the "Road Till..." mixtape, which isn't over an original/cleared/remix beat, I don't know if the same case applies with Royce's "Jockin My Fresh", and many other songs ya'll may've listed which I'm aren't familiar with.

Europass was a CD Elzhi only handed out at his live shows, it was labeled an "Exclusive Tour CD." It wasn't live, and most of the songs ended up on the Preface. Europass is basically like an EP or mixtape compared to the Preface, which was the real album that came afterwards. So I agree that if you do list Europass, it would make more sense to list it as an EP or mixtape.

However, I am not going to be listing Europass at all since it is basically the same as the Preface, but a little worse. I'm only going to be putting the Preface on my list.
