I was sitting down and my friends were debating who was the best on the XXL 2010 Freshmen Issue. I said "you guy are late, I heard all these guys(except Donnis) almost a year or two ago. I'm listening to the guys that are gonna be on the 2011 list"

Then I thought about what dude I think will make the list in 2011.

cARTer

Dom Kennedy

STS(Sugar Tongue Slim)

Big K.R.I.T.

XV

Kendrick Lamar

S.L. Jones

Chip Da Ripper

I wanna say Jay Electronica, but I think he has the buzz already and should have been on this list. Also U-N-I and Pacific Division, but I'm pretty sure they has something against putting groups on the list. And I think Lil B will be on the list, no joke.

If Lil' B is one the list and not U-N-I or Pac Div I'll kill someone.

Pac Div had more talent in their left nuts then most of the people on last years list. Church League Champions was better then most of the material put out by most of the freshmen last year...

Man, with how many bad rappers were on this year's list, I wouldn't want to waste too much time trying to think of equally bad rappers.

Pac Div is already on the top 5 groups list along with PRGz, Embassy Music Board, Mullage and Hollyweerd. Groups don't make the Freshmen list.

Those were just random examples, but yeah.

I still remember reading about Lil Flip after dropping "The Leprachaun", hearing about how he was one of the hottest artists in Texas and thinking "damn, I gotta get that album!", lol.

Heh, that's funny stuff. He flopped harder than Kwame Brown and Greg Oden combined.

Flip ran Southern hip-hop for a period, but the T.I. beef was his Waterloo.

Meh, he's okay. His flow is always the same and his raspy voice bothers me.

So that XV show was dope as hell actually he did about 8 songs and a few new ones and after him Clipse went on an shut the place down they were really good live and had the crowd going. I left early cause my friend was telling me Vizzy was outside so I talked to him for about 20 min. and he is a mad cool dude for real. We talked about everything really; movies, games, music, and herbs too. Really cool dude and great performer so I would say check him out for sure to everyone.

I asked him about it and he said he's shooting for August so that is something to look forward to. Oh and I think Chip Tha Ripper will be on this list as well, hes getting a lot more attention lately.
