Beach Boy ft Glasses Malone - LA You Drive Me Crazy

if anyone listens to 93.6 here in LA you've probably heard this song by now. The original has my friends verse on it but they got Glasses Malone in the studio and recorded this version which actually sounds better then I thought it would be. Once this song hits the other radio stations it's probably going to get major play

Big Rubes - Do For Love

Parylist - Life Behind The Mic (feat. Conflict)

Both very good, I prefer the first dude though. First dude's from my hometown of Morristown and the other from nearby Dover, NJ.

Willie just got a write up in our local newspaper.

I hate how it compares him to nerdcore and MC Frontalot though. While Willie is definitely nerdy, that's a lot different than what's on the nerdcore scene.

I don't really give **** bout most **** coming out of Chicago, not my style at all.

Typical Cats

This was one of those groups I was pissed at myself for sleeping on for so long, took me nearly a year to check em out after my buddy recomended them to me.

Some doap jazz-hip hop. Am kind of sad I missed they time, cause they mostly just do solo **** now, but come together every once in a while to throw a show.

Qwazaar of Typical Cats has been collaborating with producer Batsauce (who's from my city: Jacksonville, FL) a lot recently. Batsauce may be familiar to people who know the Smile Rays, which feature Batsauce on production, Paten Locke on the mic, and Daisey singing.

Their 2 projects were pretty damn good. Some great jams came out. Amongst best of last year.

News dropped not too long ago that Batsauce is releasing an album on  Galapagos4, I think they said this summer, or later in the year, either way, sounds good.

Have been following his "Beat of the Day" on SoundCloud too. Some great jams right there. Another 30 something days will be an entire year! Awesome. http://soundcloud.com/batsauce

Been meaning to for some time, but didn't get into some Psalm One until as of late. Not a big fan of female emcee's, but she can hold her own. http://regularblackgirl.com

Always been down for some Psychodrama, but they've pretty much been non-existent for many years now. I know they do something on rare occassion, but it's a bit too far & few between. Hard to find much of their stuff in an abundant of quantity though, been lacking consistency in these 00's.

I got into LEP Bogus Boys from the track they did with Yukmouth. But Then was turned off soon after. Between their affiliations & not really into a whole lot of that type of **** much anymore.

There's another one or 2 Chicago groups I've gotten into a bit past however many months. For some reason, I can't remember who it was though.

it's really funny going back and looking at this thread when odd future was still relatively underground.
