lol what are you talking about toriko...? i love BTH... i think you're confused. i wasn't saying Blu was a bad rapper, just that i like CH more. the "makes me fall asleep" joke is just something i always throw in my posts about blu do bait gamr and rob :)

and i do not think bad albums are classics. thank you very much. all in a day's work was dope as hell. and **** what anyone says, C2 is still a classic to me lol.

and The World Is... is EASILY the best song on that album. That thing made me rewind like 50000 times on the first listen... Blu = the dude on that, and the sampling is just great. Show Me The Good Life is dope, but The World Is... will always come to mind first when I think of BTh.

the top 5 albums this year that i've heard:

ugk 4 life
tonite show with d-lo
the real world pt.2: east west oakland
thizz iz all n da doe vol. 2
tear gas

my fav songs from just those albums:

feelin you
she luv it
blaaaat
in da game
let's wait
armed and dangerous
money in da streets
birds pigeons and chickens
summer
glamorous life****br>

rubbersouI

God Rubbersoul's list is so much better than anyone else's.

Glad to see you came around on Tear Gas, though ... I really could not understand how you couldn't like that record. If you're interested in checking out more stuff from The Jacka I'd really recommend checking out his record with Ampichino, "Devilz Rejectz: 36 Zips".

If I could only pick two songs from "Real World: East Oakland", "Let's Wait" would definetely be one of them, but I think the other would be "Fast Life".

yeah it was pretty much a tie between that,  Glamorous Lifestyle, and They Don't know. I just love the beat on greatest alive. It's a track I always play when I'm just cruisin'

more colt via facebook:

Constro Jr. aka Cali > Constro

ITI: I know mayne. I wish was still around, but what are you going to do? There have been so many topics where I've been lurking and wanted to ask you a question, or give you props for your response on a topic. For the record though, that Webbie album you mentioned to me was dope as ****. So many dope tracks on that album, and I constantly find myself getting as giddy as a school girl when he's dropping guest verses. All of them have been near perfect. His verse on "Better Believe It" for example, is probably one of the best of the year.

Anyways, as far as new discs are concerned, the new Jay-Z isn't worth it. The Kid Cudi is garbo, and the Boosie album is underwhelming but still worth a purchase. ITI's right, Boosie's an animal on the mic but the beats really kill this album. It's a shame too, because Boosie proves on this album that he's among the best in the South on the mic. The first half of the album, save for a few tracks, is killer though. "Top Notch" and "Better Believe It" are some of the best of the year, easily. BTW, who's this Mouse cat btw? He kills it on Top Notch...or maybe that was Lil' Phat? Who knows...every verse is dope on that song.

Overall: New Jay is wack, new Cudi is beyond wack, new Rae is a grower, and is dope (gonna be in contention for the best of the year when its all said and done, but atm it's not touching the ugk album) and the new charles is also a grower, and a bit dissapointing. I KNOW charles has a ****c in him, and since I consider the pink lavalamp a near ****c, i really wanted to see Charles improve on that ****on his new disc. Charles is such a bull****er though....he has to know in his heart of hearts that songs like "All Alone" are awful, or saying "I'm ready to tell my story" a billion times on an otherwise dope track in "Barbara Walters" is annoying as sin. Still a good album though, just not as good as I was hoping.

I've got a blog you guys can check out if you really want to keep up with what I'm doing. I review music, and am my ridiculous self on there. gamr92 has the link, and if you guys want it, I can put it on my last.fm. I might be back on here soon...I've been in contact with customer service, and I'm waiting for another reply from them. We'll see what's up. I don't even want to be on GS so much as I want to interact with OTB. oh and for those of you that think my list is wack, i pity you and your ears that enjoy that kid cudi garboColt45fool

I'd love for people who say Colt's taste is wack to actually explain their stance.

And for Colt, as far as who Mouse is - he's one of the two main in-house producers for Trill Ent. Mouse generally does all the bounce and "crunk" beats, and the more soulful and introspective tracks are usually handled by BJ. Mouse's bounce tracks have been getting insanely good lately, though, and his rapping style is often times very reminiscent of late 90's Cash Money (a very good thing if you ain't know). Check out Jimi Jump feat Juvenile & Mouse, "2 Pieces (Remix)" and Lil Cali feat Young Dro & Mouse, "Ric Flair" - both produced by Mouse, and he has the last verse on both songs.
