I thought Spider-Man 1 and 2 were pretty good for comic book movies. twogirlz
yeah well, spiderman 3 was so bad, you don't even wanna watch 1 and 2 anymore.

You act as if Blade Trinity doesn't exist.
uhh, V for Vendetta was garbage and Sin City sucked. Where's the Boondocks Saints and Big Lebowski's of the 00's? there are none

how about Kill Bill and Shaun of the Dead? both are rated R.

You know, we could very easily list a bunch of great films that came out this decade, claim that the 90's doesn't have the equivalent and declare that decade as terrible.

But that'd be trolling.

twogirlz
to you it would. But that's cause you're a moron who doesn't deserve Fight Club as an avatar

Just so you know, you now are unequivocally trolling; calling another user a moron is, in addition to being bad form, disallowed behavior.

Directors try not to make mistakes like these twice.
look at that I just said two highly regarded movies sucked basedon nothing.Just like you.
Trolling (Inciting flames): Messages intended solely to annoy and/or offend other users by going against the clear nature of a board, topic or chat room are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to: provoking other users to respond with flames; provoking fans of a particular system or game, especially on boards or topics dedicated to that system or game; making misleading topic titles; asking obviously useless questions; posting false information as fact; and using another user's quote in your signature without permission.

How is this thread not trolling?

Maybe you should watch films outside of your local multiplex. Expand your viewing choice and you will find some great great films.

lol, yet you think Terminator was any better? lmao, I would say Arnold is the worst actor of all time. Second of all, Sin City was filled with great actors.

Specifially, Bruce Willis.

Nah, ya just seem to be wrong :)The_Sixer

name a Saving Private Ryan, Fight Club, or Terminator 1's of the 00's. You can't, cause they all suck

Good War Movies in '00's:

Black Hawk Down

Letters From Iwo Jima

Hotel Rwanda

The Pianist

Downfall

Troy

Flags of our Fathers

No Man's Land

Tears of the Sun

We Were Soldiers

Enemy at the Gates

Pearl Harbour

Wind Talkers

Behind Enemy Lines

EVEN THOUGH THIS IS NOT A MOVIE:

BAND OF BROTHERS > SAVING PRIVATE RYAN !!!!

and despite the lack of action i found Valkyrie enjoyable. certainly not one of the best this decade but still an interesting take on a different side of the war

I don't mean to sound like an obnoxious fanboy because if I really feel like a movie is bad, I say so, but The Dark Knight was legitimately good. There Will Be Blood was excellent too.

I like things from the 90s in general more. Everything is either politically correct now or dumbed down lawl. I also like a lot of 70s-80s movies XD.

I think the over all quality of movies has gone down a bit, but not a whole lot. There are definitely still a ton of great movies out there.

You know what's really annoying me about comedies by the "Superbad"-crew? They aren't funny! Seriously comedies aren't funny anymore, they arent even jokes or funny situations. Comedies of today have degenerated into a sequence of awkward circumstances. Awkward is not funny...it just awkward. That's all comedies are today. Its like the director says "Yeah...ummm why dont we set up an awkward situation and see what happens..." not cool. And these movies like Superbad and what not are really terrible. I think the movie that popularied this "Lets be funny by not being funny" movement was Juno.II_Seraphim_II

I actually love these movies :|

You sick bastard! :x You are probably the same guy turns off LIFE and Pushing Daises and Sarah O'Connor Chronicles and 4400 just so you can catch the latest episode of Night Rider and 90210 oh yeah, and Gossip Girl  :P

Knight Rider's actually pretty good. I like LIFE too, haven't watched the others yet. I love NCIS!

I have enjoyed a lot of movies this decade, but most of them have been foriegn movies; spanish, french, english or itallian. Hollywood has been lacking. I have pretty much stopped going to the theater to watch movies. I get a much better experience at home. If you look outside the box and try other types of movies, not made in the U.S.A., you will find a lot of gold.

Fine, then, here are some good movies of the 00s (just the ones off the top of my head):

A Beautiful Mind
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Mystic River
Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
The Pianist
Million Dollar Baby
The Aviator
Capote
Sin City
Brokeback Mountain
Good Night, and Good Luck
Ray
The Departed
No Country for Old Men
Pan's Labyrinth
There Will Be Blood
Milk
Gran Torino
Black Hawk Down

I'm sure i could think of more, but I'm too lazy/don't feel like looking them up :).
