I really hate the Taliban for their treatment of women. Good to know she's still alive.

other then JFK ofcourseShe should have kept her mouth shut and come to America. We may make you pay for your own health insurance, but we don't shoot you for speaking out against evil.

Yes, because leaving the country is easy for her. Though if she brought her family to America, she could watch her mother die slowly if she didn't have health insurance coverage.
Health insurance coverage isn't really that hard to get. And for those without the economic means...the government picks up the tab. So tired of the exaggerations from people that do nothing but read about a region on the internet.other then JFK ofcourse[QUOTE="airshocker"]

I don't just read about the region. 44 Million in America are uninsured and another 33 million have poor coverage. This isn't an exaggeration.

That doesn't mean you can't read about the issue and get a skewed idea about it. It's much exaggerated nonetheless. Should we reform health care? Yes....but that doesn't mean someone's mom dies a slow death. Come on man.....you have less of an excuse for such hyperbole than non citizens.Raw numbers don't tell the tale. Are you aware that many of the uninsured are making between 50K and 75K a year but opt not to purchase? Are you aware that many of the younger demograpchic can afford but don't opt to to purchase? These same people can purchase new cars, take vacations, have the latest and newest electronic equipment. As for poor coverage....that would also be consumer choice. If people decide not to purchase insurance, or a very good plan.....is that the fault of society or the individual? Take those people out and the numbers are drastically reduced. This is whay I mean by buying the hype. You see numbers and then make hyperbolic analogies.44 Million in America are uninsured and another 33 million have poor coverage. This isn't an exaggeration.

There is a segment of society that falls in the cracks. But not to the big numbers you are posting. And no one can ever be turned away from necessary medical care if they don't have insurance.
