Yes, give back to the people whose air you are polluting so your bad habit is not without consequence.
One of the many reasons why I don't smoke.
Man... I wish I owned the tabacco industry. I would be bathing in cash.
http://discount.cigarrettes-online.com/Camel_Filter_King_Size.html Camel filters just hit over 8 dollars a pack over here in south-eastern Washington St, and I just randomly froogle'd camel filters and came upon that... is it for real? is there some fine print I'm looking over or something? can anyone confirm this?bobstos
I dunno man. I dont think id trust it...but im skeptical when it comes to such things. Just fill out one of those mailorder things and theyll send you some buy one get one coupons and stuff. Those cigarettes are probably months old/stale...
Most of the pricing of ciggarettes is simply tax added by the government. Can't remeber the exact figures, and to lazy to google :P but i know it is high. One of the many reasons why I don't smoke.

I've heard that argument so many times and it's terrible.
"Everything's bad for you."
Not to the same extent and look at it, for real, it's cancering your lungs away, my god, I thought this should be obvious, but apparently people want to cheaply rationalize their way out of anything.
just need a straight answer here guys, don't need a conscience...bobstosYou could always just give it a go? they sell from outside the states so chances are the are bypassing the government added taxes.. just like airport duty free.

Electricity and transportation actually have a point.
Smoking is just plain stupid.

Everything has tax added on.. buying cheaply at such a huge hit just means alot of those taxes aren't present.[QUOTE="MocktheDead"]

I know that in New York, packs are up to $20. I have no clue in other states, though.ChicaQueenWarGa$20!?

Well let's safely assume that cars give off more CO2 than smoking. Cows give off more CO2 than cars. By that train of thought, cows are more damaging to you and the air than smoking. :3I don't smoke. But if i did what if i didn't wanna quit? It is no business of yours. RiseAgainst12

Well let's safely assume that cars give off more CO2 than smoking. Cows give off more CO2 than cars. By that train of thought, cows are more damaging to you and the air than smoking. :3The thing is, ciggarettes only have one purpose, to cure a quick nicotene fix for when people are stressed out.
Cattle and cars have plenty of purposes and may have side effects.
But smoking is basically for when someone is stressed out and they shoot up and the nicotene helps them relax. That's the only purpose, it's a short-term fix, and the problem is the long term consequences of lighting this short term fix are so stagerringly high.
It's ridiculous, people are paying to make themselves sick, I can't wrap my mind around it. They pay to make themselves sick and then they have to pay even more to make themselves better, and the excuse "quitting is too hard" is such a cheap excuse, it's not that it's too hard, the smoker just isn't strong enough to do it. Maybe if they weren't so naive enough to pick up such a bad habit in the first place, they wouldn't have to worry about the difficulty of quitting.

Define "significant".
Smokers come up with the poorest analogies:
"Everything is bad for you."
"Your car and electricity pollutes too."
"It's my life, I can do what I want with it."
In reality though, the arguments are just very bad tripe, and that's all they kind of are.

Personal choice is a "bad argument" and a "poor excuse":? It's not suppose to be an argument, it's his choice. Bottom line.
I've never had a ciggarette in my life and any tar or crud on my lungs is a result of someone else's crappy habit, thanks, because smoking is "so hard."
