... This is where the parents take the damn cigs away, dont give the kid access to them or a lighter, and say "the tobacco fairy came and needed to give it to other people who needed cigs" ... if kid throws fit... well duh, its called a niccotine fit. what do you do? Put helmet on kid and sit back and let head-to-wall continue till the lil guy wears himself out. Then he goes down for a nap. Every day will get better. ... freakin parents... gah. Seriously they need to be jailed and the kid needs to go into foster care.xhellcatxPersonally, I would be very straightforward with the kid.
"Smoking is bad for you, therefore you wont smoke again. End of story."
Not disagreeing at all with you btw, I am just a fan of more direct approaches. :P

Mum Diana, 26, wept: "He's totally addicted. If he doesn't get cigarettes, he gets angry and screams and batters his head against the wall. He tells me he feels dizzy and sick."

A toddler acting like a toddler? I'm shocked! Shocked!!!

And apparently some parents dont know how to handle toddler behavior.[QUOTE="xhellcatx"]... [QUOTE="rawsavon"][QUOTE="BiancaDK"]early bloomerBiancaDKand an early wilter I'll be honest. I have no idea what 'wilter' means. I'm just assuming it means 'winter' and am now gleefully smirking. >_> Ill be honest i dont know if your being honest lol, but *cookies* Wilt means to droop and die >_>

*eats cookie* I looked up 'wilter', it's no where to be found.
*nom nom noms* 'Wilt' on the other hand is definitely a word though. *carefully collects crumbs*

I think it refers to flowers that 'wilter or wither away' if not properly taken care of.I think it refers to flowers that 'wilter or wither away' if not properly taken care of.weezyfb
Oh I totally know what 'wilter' means now after looking up 'wilt', but apparently the english dictionary sadly does not, hence I questioned the word. I'm not nitpicking or anything, I genuinely didn't know what it meant, since all my dictionary searches came up empty.
Enthralling enigma.

It is not really a word (the way I used it) I forget that English is not everyone's first language...even then, it was not my best word play...and you all are believing a tabloid newspaper? Either way, that's sick and would be sick if it were true...

Should I let this go?
I'll let it go.
You see a video recording of the child smoking a cigarette. Either industrial light & magic out-did themselves on this one, or this is a real story. Take your pick....and you all are believing a tabloid newspaper? Either way, that's sick and would be sick if it were true...

I guess enough people would have to use it the way I did (I have never heard it used that way...it just went with bloom'er' that you used) -in that sense it is grammatically correct (same as bloomer is)...it is just not a part of the common vernacular -it is only used (as far as I know) as wilt (the flowers will will wilt away...or a person about to die) or wilted (she wilted away) or wilting[QUOTE="tycoonmike"]You see a video recording of the child smoking a cigarette.
