How exactly is it supposed to end? Id the world going to spontaneously explode or something? Or get eaten by a giant space worm? Or is it just going to vanish, as though we were in God's TV, and he decided to switch to the Shopping Channel?
I picked no because I plan on turning 27 in 2012. :P If it does, I'm going to be very angry.

No you're not. Dead people can't be angry :V Then again, I've never asked a dead person how they're doing. Maybe I should do that when I have the chance, so that I'll be able to find out if they are angry or if they are in heaven having tea and biscuits with Thomas Jefferson. Oh man, that would be totally awesome.
It's so stupid. The Mayans NEVER predicted the world would end or anything would happen on that date. Their calendar just happens to not go past that date. Were they supposed to have come up with a calendar that never ends? Heck, ours doesn't go past this year. :?
I'm surprised how many people keep brining up y2k as a valid rebuttal. Different situation, the world would not have ended if y2k happened, computers would have just shut off or crashed, hardly world ending.
