20th anniversary of Hubble Telescope...new photo of the Carina star-birth Nebula

This is seriously cool. The Hubble Telescope has captured a picture of the Carina Nebula on the outskirts of our galaxy, one of the most prolific star-birthing regions. This plume of hydrogen-dust rising from the wall of the nebula is 3 light years tall. And no, this photo is not doctored in any way, shape, or form.

It's amazing that the universe is that beautiful I hope someday people can venture far out into space

The 1st thing I saw in that image reminded me of Zeus holding a lightning bolt. Not kidding :o

It's a man with a bear coming from his chest holding a spear riding a two headed tiger. That's a lot of awesome in one picture if it were real :P.

Simply incredible, espeically because of the actual size of that nebula is totally unfathomable.
