This is seriously cool. The Hubble Telescope has captured a picture of the Carina Nebula on the outskirts of our galaxy, one of the most prolific star-birthing regions. This plume of hydrogen-dust rising from the wall of the nebula is 3 light years tall. And no, this photo is not doctored in any way, shape, or form.
