Yes it was . IGN gave it a perfect 10 !!! Wth ? This movie was more a fad than anything else. The story seemed really boring...300 soldiers go to kill the persian king and it fails miserably in that matter. I prefered Troy's story which truly left me impressed. 300 wasn't a horrible movie just overrated.

I totally agree with you, Troy was such a better movie then this. The story of Troy was deeper and you get really attached to the cast.

Thereason it would be overrated to you is that some many people love it to much...well thats there opinio, they arent wrong for liking something.And yougot the whole story wrong. 300 didnt go to kill te Persian king. They went to hold the hot gates to gain time and stale the persians. They were a sire unit and knew they would die, and death wise the 300 and greeks didnt fail.

It's one of the best comedies of the past several years, and it's IMO better than Shaun of the Dead. A 2 high thumbs up.

I am getting it sometime, just to see how good it looks. The only version I saw of it was ahem, not good quality. I didn't see it in the theatre and boy am I glad.

The movie was basically made for 18 year olds with short attention spans and no care at all for plot, story or good acting.

Oddly the action in it was pretty poorly done too. And come on man, the main character didn't hide the fact that he's Scottish at all.

"Emmorrrtels!" Wull peht their nehm to thah tehhhst!" I couldn't tell whether or not I was watching a bad version of Braveheart or a bad version of Gladiator. the movie wished it was as good as Gladiator, tried to copy it so blatantly, too bad Gladiator wasnt that good to begin with.
