300....What a joke...

I finally rented the movie I knew would be crap, and guess what...It was basically crap. Told you guys.

It is the most cliche movie ever.... For one, the stupid scenes with the retarded girl yelling in some made up language is just insanely stupid. It sucked in Lord of the Rings and every other fantasy movie, and it was stupid in 300.

Also the stupid "Let's play really loud music while this guy rides a horse, and then switch to a scene with some ambient noise like a crackling fire or running water" thing is overdone and always stupid. It happened in 300 twice.

The ending was even more cliche...Girl in open field while the stupid girl screaming music plays....WTF...Isn't that basically how Gladiator and every other movie ended?

The dialogue was written by a five year old.....

The action stuff was okay, but the movie flat out sucked.

Watched it on a big screen, with surround sound cranked to the max.. It would have been a decent movie, but the things I mentioned took everything positive away from it.... Horrible directing.

I like it when people bash movies that most people enjoy just to be different.

Oh and I'm not even trying to argue that this movie was supposed to have some thick moral fiber in it or a deeply intellectual plot, the movie was intended for you to lean over to a friend while you are watching it and say, "Wow "Insert friends name here" that was awesome!".

300 was awesome just cause of the fight scenes, theres nothing more to it. As for complaining about the plot you do know it was based on a historical event. They took liberties with the plot but other than that they had to follow what history stated.Drizzt13
