First and only time I'm going to agree with and defend the guy who posted this.

300 was total crap.

I saw it in an imax, thinking it would be way cool and all. It wasn't. It was like somebody told a 13 year old AC/DC fanto direct a "way br00tal" homemovie about Spartans, and then re-did it in CGI.

I've seen porn with better fight scenes.

Uh, we all do...When you first saw the preview, I'm sure you were like "That's awesome, I have to see that", while I said "That looks like a movie without a plot, directed toward 14 year olds".

Same goes with music, games, jobs, friends and everything else in the world.... At least I finally watched it, when I said I wouldn't. For about 35 minutes I really enjoyed it, but then things just came crashing down. I liked the main fight scenes.

You watched this movie under the wrong circumstances. You should've watched it in the theaters expecting nothing but an adrenaline rush. People don't watch movies like 300 for friggin plot. You watch this kind of movie for cool action and senseless violence, which is cool on a big screen.8IbodI8

The ending was even more cliche...Girl in open field while the stupid girl screaming music plays....WTF...Isn't that basically how Gladiator and every other movie ended?

Also, you're entitled to your opinion. But I'm also entitled to mine, and my opinion is that your opinion is stupid.

I really enjoyed the movie. It's one of my favorites, but it's one that I watch only to mindlessly gaze into the spray of blood and adrenaline.

I did like the scene where the Queen killed the traitor. All of the politicians stood there. They had been listening to him and prepared to do anything he wanted. When they saw that he was a paid agent, then they all got up in arms decrying him. I thought it was a cool commentary on the condition of politics...
