I just read this and thought it was interesting. What are your favorites? I think the Marky Mark one is insane. I love the Buscemi 9/11 fact, though.

I came here to put down this thread with a witty comment. I went through it and I really enjoyed it.

Some of these I would think are pretty well known. Mark Whalberg's racial assault I had definitely heard before, I had heard about the David Lynch Star Wars one, and Michael Jordan's statistic would seem obvious. The Mel Blanc thing was pretty incredible though.

The only one I knew before reading was the Dr. Seuss fact. Although some of them are not quite as shocking, such as Jordan's statistic.

Enjoyable thread, but a great number of these are not at all surprising, like the Michael Jordan statistic and the fact about Vangelis. Many famous musicians can't read music; they go by ear.

Hey Grey, I was checking out your FFX review and I noticed you scored it half a point lower than you meant to.

Wonder what military Dr. Ruth served in? I will take a stab in the dark and say Israeli. Guess I'll have to google it.

lol. Is that a sly way of saying I overpraised it in the review text? :P

But I did mean to give it a 9.5 as the game was a bit too restrictive.

Thanks for reading the review BTW.

It's funny, I just looked at your review scores and realized that's what you meant.

If the game would have been a tiny bit more open and the dialogue/voice acting was a bit more polished, I would have probably given it a 10. The art design was absolutely gorgeous and the music was the best I've ever heard from a videogame. Plus, the gameplay was the FF turn-based style at its best and most fluid.

I still like FFIX a bit more tho. :P

Cant believe you missed the one about Matthew Broderick. He killed 2 women when he rammed his car against her, while being presumably drunk. And he didnt served any jail time either.

You guys have a thing for horribly written romances, annoying characters, linear gameplay and terrible character building, huh?

This post is bad and you should feel bad.

Also so much criticism for a game you gave an 8.8 to. o_O

You're entitled to your opinion, but I'm not going to turn this thread into an FFX debate.

Yeah, I joined this site at 14. Lots of those ratings on my profile are horrible and embarrassing.

Great list!  I liked the one about Dr. King keeping the Star Trek bridge crew together.

Hmm, I feel a bit different about Mark Wahlberg now, but I suppose he's probably grown up.  The Buscemi one was awesome.  I had no idea Rob Riggle was a marine, much less one for 22 years.  Did not see him as that kind of person, having said that he's still not funny.  Also Bill Gates, what a player:P.
