I once spent 24 hoursplaying Gran Turismo A-spec. It was a 24 hour race, and it freakin sucked. That was a long time ago.
3 hours straight...and it was f'n UNO  I don't have the patience required for playing/doing anything for very long, lol
Longest I've played for is 8 hours with no breaks on Gauntlet Dark Legacy, what would REALLY be good is if someone played a game that lasts 5-6 hours, and played it for like 50 hours with like a few breaks (XBL/PSN titles?) THAT would be good :P
At one time I never play much, probably the longest run Ive had was 3 and a half hours or so. Total playtime, though?
256 hours in Pokemon Diamond, man...
It was about 30 hours, Halo 2, with my best friend.
Soul Calibur IV comes close though, with 25 hours.
So 28 hours is what it was before huh? I could have been in the Guiness Book of World Records  My streak was 33 hours playing Burnout Paradise. When the trophy patch came out, I played till I had them all.
How is that a record? Is Guiness unaware of the stories that break every so often of people who binged on a game so long that they died? For example, that Korean who played Starcraft for something like a week straight in an internet cafe.
40 hours is nothing. I'm sure there are gamers out there with unhealthy gaming habits who pull stunts like that or better on a regular basis.
I remember playing this one MMO for like 30 hours. Wow that made me feel sick, never gonna do that again. I play about 4-6 hrs on games.
By the way, people break this record on World of Warcraft like everyday. This one kid died from not going to the bathroom for over a week and played WoW all day straight.
Nothing close to that, but I once played GTA IV for about 7 hours straight on a day off not long after buying it. I still play the game, but I don't have even close to that amount of free time to sit down and play a game through like that.double_deckerThats most ppl do, i am wondering those who vote ">40 hrs'".
Thats most ppl do, i am wondering those who vote ">40 hrs'".whaleleeYeah, if I was younger and on summer break from school I might try to beat that record but I work full time and have other things to do so there's no way I could even attempt to come close to that.

Im tempted to train up and try to break this, i reckon if i really tried i could. Longest games i've played would be like 18 hours on games like Zelda and Banjo Kazooie and Starwars battlefront and stuff like that but yeah only game ive played solely for 18 hours without changing games was Banjo Kazooie when i was about 10 i started a game in the morningand then almost finished the game that night.

Like i've had gaming "marathons" with multiple games for up to about 16-18 hours but i've only played Banjo Kazooie for 18 hours without playing any other games in that period.
