Your cognitive dissonance is astronomical.

WhiteKnight77

Definitely.

WhiteKnight says "2 black teens did attack, beat and kill a white man."

Then he says, "I don't care what color they are."

Wut? If you don't care what color they are, why respond to my comment by saying, "Well, 2 black teens...etc. etc." Either their race matters or it doesn't.

You're really not fooling anybody, WhiteKnight. Well, atleast anybody who is not hopelessly naive.

 Believe what you want. If you commit a crime, you should be punished for it. Skin color be damned.

I notice that you didn't even try to address your contradiction.

I asked why this thread needed to be about race and you replied, "Well, they were black teens and they did kill and beat a white man."

So why do you think it matters that they were black and the old man was white?

[QUOTE="EYE-OF-HORUS999"]

Elaborate????

I'm not denying the possibility of Trayvon attacking first, but who started the situation. Hasn't it been stated that Zimmerman was stalking him? If thats the case then how could you compare the two. Those two teens were stalking the old man looking for trouble. Trayvon was being stalked and was not looking for trouble. Again how can you compare the two situations.

Why are people even bringing up the Trayvon/Zimmerman situation up in the first place????

WhiteKnight77

Following someone is not stalking them. If following someone is truly stalking, then I could attack you for following me while walking through the mall. As to why people are bringing up Trayvon and Zimmerman, I cannot answer that, but it may be due to lack of any outrage from the very people who tried to railroad Zimmerman in the first place and it is not the police who are tasked with investigating crimes and to either arrest or release people based on their findings. If there is no evidence of a crime, then said person being investigated goes free. Plain and simple.

People like Sharpton and Jackson should be spreading outrage at how the black community conducts itself, much like Bill Cosby has done, yet they purposely remain quiet about it. Phrases like "it's frowned upon" for a joy killing just shows how out of touch these civil rights activists are with who they are supposed to represent.

Stalk:

pursue or approach stealthily.

Following or stalking whatever one you say. My point is was Trayvon Martin purposely looking for trouble. If that was then people have a point when bringing up the Trayvon/Zimmerman case. I don't care about anything else. Was Trayvon Martin looking for trouble like these two teenagers who beat up a man?

Also what Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson says have no relevance to my argument. And what do you mean how the black community conducts itself? Yes the black community has its flaws like every community and yes we need improvement. But that seems like generalization. There are many successful black communities around the USA that are successful. Not denying that many black communities around the USA needs to fix themselves. But what you said seems like generalization.

There was no contradiction of you don't take the two quotes out of context.

Quote one was in answer to the question, "Why was Trayvon dragged into this discussion?"

You'd know this if you didn't jump straight to "DAT'S RACIST!!!"

Funny. If you'd learn some basic reading comprehension, I didn't say that WhiteKnight said anything racist.

There's a difference between making something about race and actually being racist.

Secondly, the first quote was not in answer to the question, "Why was Trayvon dragged into this discussion?" The question was "Why does this thread have to be about race?"

I can see why you say that, but honestly, I'm getting sick of going into threads that are not even about race (at first) and seeing people constantly rag on black people.

I got the wrong poster. Apologies.

My point still stands though: you rushed to prove a contradiction that did not exist. He pointed out that others tried to make this about race, which does not automatically mean he cares about race. That's something a racist would jump to conclusions about.

Just ignore the threads, at least most of them. Just remember that people like that exist, but also take solace in realizing they're a dying breed.

The bolded doesn't make sense. Even if I was jumping to conclusions, that wouldn't say anything about whether I'm racist or not. Even if I was accusing WhiteKnight of racism (which I'm not), there's no logical reason that I would automatically be racist because of that.  Do you know the definition of racism?

Also, if you don't like other people throwing around the word racist, you shouldn't do it yourself.

Furthermore, I'm hardly jumping to conclusions; I'm partly basing my comments on post history. I've actually got into arguments with WhiteKnight about generalizations he has made about black people. I don't think he's a racist, but he's definitely not as color blind as he'd like everybody to think and he could stand to have a more nuanced and enlightened view of the black community.

No contradiction. Both are truths. I didn't bring up race, someone else did, I just answered your question.

Actually there was. WhiteKnight77 was claiming not to care about what color they were. Yet at the same time, WhiteKnight felt the need in another post, to include what color they were.

You'll only enrage them, and then they can claim your "true fairness" is from a bigoted viewpoint, and thus they'll get louder and more aggressive in their "Pro-equality" non-sense. It's like how the MRA are for equality among sexes, yet are bashed by feminists for being anti-women.

Stuff like this makes me wish that the capitol punishment system was revamped so as to be a better deterrent than it is now. If people knew that they would not have years making appeals, and only had a short period of time before they were put to death, it would make a difference.

I think that punishment should be dealt out much quicker as well. It shouldn't take 20 years to execute someone.

I can't. People on death row have actually been exonerated, and the only thing that saved them was the fact that they were on death row for so long. If it had been a speedy process, they'd be dead.

Second suspect arrested in fatal beating of WWII vet shows that you can run, but you can't hide. It also shows that if you harbor a criminal, you will get arrested too.

Should someone who hides or helps criminals evade the law be charged with aiding and abetting?

Too bad he wasn't armed. He'd be alive today.

Of course then he'd be crucified by liberals for shooting "innocent unarmed black teenagers"

CNN would have called him a racist, and Al Sharpton would have led marches and protests in the city.

Obama would have said the black teens could have been his sons.

But at least he'd be alive.
