Lost Odyssey or Mass Effect.SolidSnake35
hasn't mass effect already got one in production?
Devil May Cryaaronmullan
i think it might have one, it's got an anime series atleast
Hmmm....that is a good question. Suikoden wouldn't really make a good movie in America, and Silent HIll has already been done horribly wrong. Soooooo....Koudelka would make one BA movie. So would Parasite Eve.Vandalvideo
Silent Hill, though a movie I would probably never see again.. Wasn't that bad, it was a great attempt to try to make some adaption from a video game.

Silent Hill was definitly one of the, if not the, best movie adaptation of a game. That doesn't make it good, though.
Lost Odyssey or Mass Effect.SolidSnake35I don't know about Mass Effect....it's an awesome game, one of the best I ever played. But unlessed it was about somebody other than Shepard it wouldn't be right.

The Original Mortal Kombat is up there too.
Well what do you expect about horror movies? They have to be either insanely imaginative or creepy beyond belief, to even be talked about or given critic raving.. Hell I can't think of the last horror movie that got good critic reviews.
I'd say Brothers in Arms, but Band of Brothers is close enough.
I'd like to see a Gears of War movie personally.
Bioshock - Half life - unreal - Crysis (maybe)- Jerichosentenced83
Bioshock is really the only realistic one I can see from there..

As I play through Silent Hill Homecoming I realize just how much damage the movie has done to the franchise. When you have a franchise as rich in story and lore as Silent Hill, the second you try mixing the sauce is the second you completely screw everything up. The only way you could make a viable Silent Hill movie is to; A) Make a totally unique character template with totally unique monster designs based off of the character's inner sins. B) Have a deep and enriching storyline.
Shenmue would be cool if SEGA would actually finish the damn story.
Oh and Halo, that series is epic.
"Final Fantasy: Spirirts Within" was a good movie but its not based off any Final Fantasy and "Final Fantasy 7:Advent Children" felt as if there was no story and got rushed to the final battle. I still think they can make an awesome movie if done right.

And see, that's the problem. Final Fantasy the Spirits Within was superb. But it wasn't a video game movie. Most videogame stories just don't translate well into film.
You could say Final Fantasy VII has the most epic story in existence, and it still would probably make a bad movie. In fact, it's "sequel" made a terrible movie.
Standards for a game's story and a movie's story are completely different.
Remake of "Red Dawn", except show more of WW3. That movie is a classic.Stevo_the_gamer
A World in Conflict movie would rock. The characters are presented really well during the cutscenes, which are written like a novel and actually make you care for the characters. Not to mention "This my friend is a portable CD player!"
Though with rising tensions between the West and Russia, it could be a bit sensitive. The action would be fantastic and I really want to find out what happens after the invasion is driven off!
[QUOTE="bangell99"]Oh, F.E.A.R - tons of action and very scary. Niff_T
And practically no dialogue!
Plus it's already every other action movie/Japanese horror movie out there. How did San Andreas have a great story?1. GTA Sanandreas - Had a great story line it would be a very good movie.
2. Halo Trilogy

Phoenix Wright.. damn would I want to see Uwe Boll slaughter THAT?! /sarcasm
Nah, on a serious note, I wouldn't mind seeing a film or a drama-series like Judging Amy with the Phoenix Wright-crew in it..maybe a bit Scrubs like.. Or perhaps Warcraft II, seeing as I love Blizzard and I love their warcraft-franchise! As long as Uwe Boll stays the HELL away from it!
S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl. If someone could make a movie out of this, I'd die a happy man. Hell, I just want to see a well executed post-apocalyptic atmosphere and mutants. Though, it'd probably be better if it were actually a Ukrainian movie with english subtitles or something.
Also, Freelancer would probably make a good movie if it were made by the same creators of Serenity. Freelancer's storyline is one of the coolest I've seen from what space sci-fi has to offer. Too bad it was a little short in the game, though.

I bought the Collector's Edition (piece of the Berlin wall FTW, and the bonus CD has a few extra CGI cut scenes on it) ... and holy crap, they're absolutely amazing. I agree with you -- a World in Conflict movie would kick some serious ass. Please Log In to post.
