Alright boys, you can learn from my mistake. Every word of this is true.

When dating a woman, never under any circumstances take her to a buffet.

Here's why:

She's going to get the salad.

You're going to get the steak and mashed potatoes smothered in fried chicken.

She's going to get dessert.

You're going to get 4 plates of meat.

There is going to be a massive amount of time where she is just sitting there watching you eat bbq'd ribs like a barbarian.

So folks, don't make the same mistake I did and take a girl to a buffet.

Similar experiences, in other words:

I ended up puking sushi in front of the person i like.My advice...try not to puke sushi.

I can think of better, simpler reasons to avoid buffets, date or otherwise.

When I hear buffets, I think of stale, lukewarm food that people sneezed by, coughed on, or touched. Yuk!

I didn't realize we had blue bloods up in here..

I think there are other obvious reasons not to take your date to the buffet.  Seems kind of cheap and tasteless.

BTW: I think it's amusing how this thread goes from a potential girl help thread to a discussion about the downsides of buffet style eating estaablishments.

But a salad is the most delicious thing on your list. Why I gotta eat BBQ? :(

The salad's probably the least germed up stuff on the buffet.  And if the buffet isn't too expensive then at least you paid less for a salad there than you would at an expensive restaurant.
