Go on that walk with her, and talk the entire time about all the other chicks you've banged recently.

Tell her the truth. Or you can rub cake..err.I meant..tell her how you feel that you like her only as friends...asking her if she has a crush on you would only devastate her since you are putting her in cold disposition..making her realize that you don't feel anything for her without hurting her would be a challenge but normally a very honest and kind approach with all sincerity would help soften the blow..

PS: I find it weird that you find her weird. There are many guys who would rather be in your shoes. :P

i agree. go with her at least once and find out what she's about. you see, you will figure out later that being weird in highschool is actually really not weird at all but more or less equates to non-boring in real life. if you don't give her a chance i'm betting you will not only feel bad about breaking her heart (most likely the only alternative) but also, you will meet her again, say 5 years from now, and totally kick yourself when seeing this awesome girl, that might have been yours but now hates your guts. so yeah, i've seen this in so many movies, that is totally what will happen!
