A Hypothetical Situation

World War III is upon us.

The east and west collide in a conflict larger than the world has ever known. Biollions of people mobilized.

The day finally comes.

You never thought you'd see the draft in your lifetime. You understand the maginitude of the situation. Before any nukes get launched, the land war will decide the fate of the globe. The question arises:

Will you live out your last days fighting for what is right?

Or, more importantly: Will you enlist?

Depends on the war. Why it is being fought, the likelihood of winning, etc.

I have incredibly flat feet, but would probably enlist if they'd accept me. That being said, I'd be in the Canadian military.

i do what my grandpa did. before he was a doctor when he lived in ukraine during world war 2, he collected his blood for a few weeks and drank it all the day he went for the health exam, so when he peed blood came out so he wasn't drafted.

That's a complete lie. Once any blood gets into your stomach, it's broken down by the acids and then pooped out. If any is intact and absorbed, they will pass through the hepatobilliary system and get degraded by the liver. The only way to pee blood is if you have kidney failure or an urinary tract infection.

If we were fighting for a cause I believed in then yes I would fight. However, I find it unlikely that any war would be a cause worth fighting for, and I would have a hard time putting my life in the hands of politicians.

I am not athletic or fit enough to join the army. And besides; with my obsession with guns, I would be shooting everything in sight. Whether that is good or not can be interpreted.
