A movie or movies that recently surprised you?

For me, it was Taken. I wasn't expecting much from it, and it was actually really good, IMO. Who else really liked Taken? I was also surprised at how The Hangover actually surpassed my expectations. I knew it was going to be good but it was even more funnier than I thought. And 12 Rounds surprised me (for real!) because it wasn't nearly as good as I hoped. Next...

This move, or rather the ending, really caught me off guard. The rest of the move, while enjoyable, was pretty predictable but the ending just kind of jumped up and slapped me in the face.

I have to agree I enjoyed the movie but that ending was a little out there. But a movie that I like was The Changelling one of the best Movies ive ever seen.

I really thought Star Trek would be an awfully cliche action sci-fi of the same caliber of Transformers 2, but I was painfully wrong, as it was actually a great movie.
