If religion wasn't around, people would still be killing each other, it'd just be over different aspects of life.SetsaYou got no proof of that, so we will never know. That just assumptions.
A country-initiated nuclear strike is extremely unlikely, since the attacking country would be wiped off the face of the earth in a matter of minutes. A terrorist-initiated strike is believable though. But unless it's a mass strike against multiple valuable targets, the world will live on. LZ71But nuclear energy keeps evolving like everything, bombs will get stronger. The impact wont affect just some small region in the world and rest will be fine. And its not just the phisical aspect of it, the would change the world completely in other ways.

That just assumptions. People are naturally inclined to look down upon other's views in vain of their own. If we could all wholly empathize with one another, there wouldn't be any misunderstandings or conflicts, albeit that would also be dismembering human nature. A difference in viewpoint pertaining to religion is not much different that a differing in perception when dealing with politics, race, gender, or many other aspects of societies.

But it would be for less crazy reasons. Well, on thing that's always bugged me, is if philosophy was strictly adopted in lieu of religion, and assumed all of it's "duties" throughout history, would things still be as they are now, albeit with different names?
Well its true that many wars still would have happened without religion. Wars for territory for example, but doesnt that still makes more sense than fighting for something you dont even have proof its true, for something you saw on a book...Drakes_FortuneMaybe because perceiving something, and believing in it, whether it is tangible or not, makes it exist? How many people would be able to describe Jesus, and how many people could detail the cultural ideologies of all the African tribal conflicts that have occurred?
