Look at your fingerprint..doesn't that prove that there is a creator because your fingerprint is completely unique?

If anything, I'd expect the product of a creator to be more standardized. The uniqueness of our fingerprints doesn't really suggest any sort of intelligent design to me.

It proves there are a LOT of possible DNA combinations, so much that it is highly unprobably to find another one with a matching fngerprint

"I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing." "But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED." "Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic. Just instead of Babel Fish input fingerprint.

No. In fact, it proves the concept of random genetic mutations. The fact that our fingerprints are unique proves that they are the result of random gene selection. Considering the variations in the traits of the 6 billion Humans which there are, the odds of two persons having the same finger print is highly improbable.

That's a good point, our finger prints are unique just like a pattern on a leaf is unique. Natures not very good at making things identical.

If life is indeed because of natural selection and the random genetic mutations that have made the surviving species dominate... then I would actually say that fingerprints are only more evidence to support that life as we know it was evolved from another species through random acts of genetic mutations that helped the host survive and thrive while others died.

Well the people here don't seem to be arguing this correctly; genes only provide a general blueprint for fingerprints, it is believed fingerprints are completely formed by fluids in the uterus. This may explain why even twins with identical DNA have different fingerprints. This still doesn't prove the existence of God, it's just nature being assymmetrical again.

Here's a fun fact: Koalas have fingerprints so similar to humans, even under an electron microscope one cannot tell the difference.

Check mate? You wish. The Bible(*1) is a retelling of the existence of life(*2), the life, times and death of Jesus Christ(*3) and other, assorted sections that don't belong in either category (i.e. the Psalms). The Bible is the most influential book of all time.

* 1. The Bible is a proper noun, and, therefore, needs to be spelt with a capital letter at the beginning of the word - Bible

* 2. According to creationism (God, Adam, Eve, The Garden of Eden, etc.). Atheists believe in nothing at all.

* 3. And the resurrection. This isn't included, as is his ascension, for the sole reason that it drags the sentence on for too long.

There are only two conclusions that can be drawn:

1. The sun IS God.

2.

The way that the sun burns is called nuclear fusion. In the sun, intense gravity forces four atoms of hydrogen to fuse into one atom of helium. One helium weighs a good bit less than four hydrogens, so what happened to the missing mass? According to Einstein's famous equation, E=mc2, even a little mass (m) becomes a lot of energy (E). We observe this extra energy as the light and heat of our burning star, the sun. In fusion it is not the bonds between atoms that are changing but the atoms themselves.

Since the sun's burning occurs without oxygen and there is no oxygen in space, astronauts must carry it with them.Article

You know, it would be really nice if you actually explained why you came to that conclusion as opposed to posting a link to the TOU without actually citing any posts which may actually conflict with it.

Fingerprints as proof of god, that's an arguement I haven't heard before. You have ridges all across your fingers, the palms of your hands and your feet to give you grip. Because they form randomly (I'm pretty sure they aren't geneticly linked as some have said), if you take a large enough imprint from any part of them (such as fingertips) it will be unlikely to match another persons. Nothing special about that.
