A question for Beer/Alcohol drinkers

I drink to drink, I enjoy the taste of beer and the social atmosphere that usually goes with it. I don't really drink to get drunk anymore, I don't see the point.

I drink beer because it tastes good.

Weird timing for the question, I turn 19 tomorrow which is the legal drinking age where I live. :P I drink to get drunk and just to enjoy a couple beers. You don't have to get drunk every time you drink, sometimes a drink just warms your insides.

I've never drank solely to get drunk. I drink because I like the taste of what I drink, and the effect (social lubricant) it has on me. I've never drank to any excess (I've thrown up once, but I don't believe that had to do with the alcohol, but some bad food; and never once have I forgot anything or blacked out). Being drunk can be fun if you are around the right people... but it can step out of line pretty damn quickly.

After a long day I personally enjoy going home and having a nice glass of wine, just to get a little buzz on. If I am out clubbing or bar hopping than its rum all the way! I loves me some rum!

First, I'm 19, so I can't say that I've had a wide variety of alcoholic beverages. The majority ones I've had though, all taste nasty. Keystone is brutal. Miller, Bud, PBR are pretty gross too. I'd never drink any of those other than to get drunk. Guiness and whiskey are alright. The only alcohol I actually like is Rum, and that's not something you want to drink a lot of =/

I don't drink alone. If I'm drinking I'm with friends or at a party, or something like that.

i drink because i enjoy it and i like how what i drink tastes. i dont usually if ever get drunk just a buzz or at the most the lowestborderline considered to bedrunk.

It depends on the situation. But I usually drink to get drunk after stressful exams.

I like beer for the taste, but I rarely drink it just for enjoyment because it is expensive. I don't mind hard liquors if mixed (unless it's whiskey, then I just drink it straight from the bottle to be hard core!). Mostly, I drink with my friends to get drunk and do stupid crap.

It is a social thing for me. I don't enjoy it on my own. But I do enjoy the taste. It is just more fun with other people.

I usually drink mixed drinks. Never to get drunk. Got drunk once, hated it, never again.

18 (legal) I like the feeling but love alcohol I started early so tryed abit of asorts lager,bitter,whiskey,cider,mixers, wine

I drink for the taste, but the buzz from it is a bonus! Usually I only drink 2 -4 when I'm out. Not enough to be drunk, but enough to get a little buzz on. I hardly ever try to get drunk, but that just depends on the situation.

i love getting drunk it feels so good when you've had a few drinks down you.

I'm 18, and I drink some form of alcohol several times a week either on nights out or just if I'm sat at home browsing the internet. I like most drinks except Wine (reminds me of Vinegar for some reason) but I mainly drink Jack Daniels and Lager.

I've gotten slightly tipsy but never been properly drunk, although I imagine that'll change in time.
